  • Awesome Sauce Anti-Oxidant Serum

    9 Review(s)

We all know better...don't smoke, don't drink, eat your veggies, stay out of the sun, get plenty of sleep, drink lots of water- yadda, yadda, yadda

For women who live in the real world, where 8 hours of sleep is a luxury, we've made Awesome Sauce.

Awesome Sauce is a combination of some fairly powerful ingredients that leaves your skin soft, dewy, and  more even-toned.  It has a TON of anti-oxidents that help protect your skin from environmental damage to keep you looking young and flawless.  For the acne-prone girls there's some anti-bacterial, and skin calming ingredients too.  And, did we mention it's just plain Awesome??

Best for:  Anti-aging, reactive skin.  Non drying, great for dry to "normal" skin types.  For oily, or very acne prone skin checkout Super Serum.

Here's a look at the actives:

Vitamin C- 3% magnesium ascorbyl phosphate so it doesn't sting or burn, but it's still incredibly effective.  Everyone needs a little Vitamin C.

Renovage- is an incredibly powerful anti-aging ingredient.  It lengthens the strands of DNA within cells to increase their lifespan by 1/3.  What you see on the surface is fewer lines, less redness, reduced pore size, and improved hydration.

Coenzyme Q-10- potent anti-oxidant necessary for proper cell functioning.  It's encapsulated in liposomes to penetrate deep into your skin, and revitalize you.

Venuceane- derived from deep sea algae it's the Chuck Norris of anti-oxidants.  Strong, powerful, and nearly inexhaustable it's what you need if you spend any amount of time in the sun (it's not sunblock at all- don't use it as that)

Fermented Wasabi Extract- By fermenting it the wasabi turns mild, and becomes anti-inflamatory.  It's also anti-bacterial, and great for acne-prone skin.

    The fine print:
Avoid this if you're pregnant. Mama's Helper is ideal if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.

Let it soak in before you apply your moisturizer as you may find a compatability issue with some products (worse case scenario, it will cause some pilling, but nothing super major).   There's actually a fair chance that you won't need a moisturizer because the Renovage is oil based, and it really does make your skin smooth and hydrated.
Use it especially during the day, and at night if you wish

  • Mama's Helper Serum

    3 Review(s)

Mama's Helper was designed to address hyperpigmentation, acne, and redness- along with great anti-oxidants and ingredients meant to slow down the aging process.  It's pregnancy/breastfeeding safe, but great for everyone.

While no skin care ingredients are actually tested on pregnant women- we stuck with ones that are edible figuring if you can eat pumpkin that it's safe to put on your skin too.

Mama's Helper has a lot of Vitamin C in it- so much so that your skin may feel slightly tight when you apply it.  Follow it up with a good moisturizer if you're experiencing tightness.

    Ingredients:
Vitamin C- to help with "the glow", and discoloration from melasma.  This contains 5.5% magnesium ascorbyl phosphate- more than any of our other vitamin c serums.
Venuceane- deep sea algae extract as an anti-oxidant.

Elastinew- pumpkin seed extract for elasticity
Licorice extract- wonderful for skin calming, and redness.
Wasabi extract- sushi's a no-no, but wasabi is great for irritiation, and it's anti-bacterial.

Co-enzyme Q-10 encased in liposomes- makes your skin smooth, and is an anti-oxidant
Green Tea extract (decaffinated)- helps with acne, redness, and discoloration

  • Super Serum- must have

    25 Review(s)

Super Serum is one of the finest skin care products on the market today...nothing is more effective, nothing is backed by more clinical studies- it will give you the results you're looking for, and the best news is that it's 99% natural!!!!!

Super Serum is kinda the answer to a lot of different problems all rolled into one!

Niacinamide is the star of this serum- it's another one that will help with just about any skin problem you may have.  It helps to fight wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and it's been used to treat acne as well.  Niacinamide also helps to restore the skin's barrier function so if you have dehydrated, flakey, or sensitive skin- it's a real miracle worker after a few months.

Vitamin C which is also good for everything- and normally the two aren't compatible but our special Vitamin C ester works beautifully in conjunction with the Niacinamide .  We use 3% magnesium ascorbyl phosphate which is equivalent to about 10% ascorbic acid, but with a more neutral pH so it can be used in conjunction with the niacinamide.

MSM which is naturally occurring sulphur (without the smell) to help with acne, and general healing- it has the added benefit of making your skin baby smooth.

Venuceane- it's a special extract made from deep sea algae and it's the Chuck Norris of anti-oxidants- it's tough, inexhaustable, and has more anti-oxidant action than any other substance- including green tea.  It's in there to help defend your skin against sun damage and it has some very impressive clinical results.  If you're not wearing sunblock the rays will still get to your skin- but when they get there Chuck Norris round house kicks them into oblivion.

Pumpkin Seed Extract- it protects elastin, prevents the formation of scar tissue, and stretch marks- but it's mainly in there to protect your elastin.  After our 20's our skin doesn't make any more of it, so it's really important to keep what you have.  Pumpkin seed extract is the main effective ingredient in lots of high end products- including the Strivectin line that sells for over $100 an ounce.

Green Tea Extract- loaded with polyphenols, it's another one of those super ingredients that's good for everything.

Yes...there's a lot going on in this serum, but it all works together beautifully.  It *can* lighten skin slightly, but nothing that can't be undone with a few minutes of sun exposure.

This serum is not at all compatible with any acids- it converts the niacinamide into niacin and makes your skin turn red.  If you want to use Super Serum along with an AHA or BHA product- use the acids at night, and Super Serum in the morning.  Not suitable for pregnant women (try Mama's Helper).
