Guava- Nude Mauve Blush

Guava is a light, cool toned mauve nude blush.  It's lightly pigmented, and made to compliment a bolder eye or lip.

This Hawaii collection was imagined by Meheen on our forum as part of the Summer Fun contest.  Growing up, she spent Summers with her Grandparents in Hawaii, and designed this collection based on the best of her childhood memories.

Full size is 1-1/2 teaspoons (7 ml) in a 10-gram sifter jar.  Samples are 1/8 teaspoon in a 5-gram jar.

Even though this blush is described as a nude mauve on me it pulls on me as a medium pink. It's lovely for summer and really brightens up my complexion.

Guava looked lovely in the jar and even more lovely when applied. The balance between the pink and coral tones lean slightly more towards coral on my skin. I liked it enough to by the full sized jar and the lack of shimmer makes this color extremely versatile. I would say it is medium pigmented so one doesn't have to be afraid of over application. I thought it would look too bright on my fair skin tone but Silk Naturals blushes are very sheer so it would be difficult to apply too much Guava unless your skin is exceptionally pale. Two or three light brush swipes is enough for me. I also happen to love the Guava fruit so it was a double win. This is color is actually quite accurate to the color of the pink guava fruit.

I didn't expectReview by Holly U.
I didn't expect to be satisfied with Guava. Guava gives my pale olive skin that everyday sweet flush that I didn't really get from Tart. I think because mauve blushes really compliment olive tone skin. I always stayed away from mauve because I had this impression that mauve would make me look older or end up looking too cool and maybe even purplish, I was proven wrong once again.

Guava is superReview by Danielle S.
Guava is super pretty. Not too pigmented or too shimmery, and on the cooler side. Gives a nice sweet flush.

I love this blush! I like that it's lightly pigmented, it's so easy to apply. The shimmer gives a subtle glow without being sparkly.
