The look is gorgeous on you, Red! Blended seamlessly! Post pics more often; you did a great job!

For liner, I did go with Envy & for fun/drama I went over it w/Brimstone > *nice*!!!

Thank you so much for the sweet compliments!!!! :) I appreciate them!!! You are all so sweet!!! I think that SN shadows are so wonderful to blend, so nice and soft, that it's hard to go wrong when blending them. :)

Ldlredhen,

You look great, fabulous skin. Those colors are perfect for your eyes, really make the blue pop.

Karen,

I’m liking the rocker look, will be ordering the new collection. I was an 80’s rocker teen so I’m looking forward to having some fun.

I got my latest order yesterday. It was a nice pick me up on my way home, I had surgery yesterday and was not feeling great after the general anesthesia. I just could not wait to try at least one of my new shadows so I opened my Sailor to try as a liner. I managed to get a reasonably strait line above my lashers but I had major fall out on my nose and cheek. Instead of brushing with a powder brush to remove (which is what I would normally do) I decided to swipe with my fingers which only managed to smudge it, than I got a tissues to try to rub it off, still with the brush in my hand and while rubbing with the tissues smeared some on my chin and jaw. This is when my DH came into the bathroom to check on me, he asked what I was doing and I turned around and told him I was trying on some eye shadow. All he did was ask me if I was OK made a Humm sound and left. Moral of the story ladies DON’T attempt makeup application when drugged!

Rhys wrote:The colours are gorgeous, Karen! But as one hooded eye gal to another, if you really want to do rocker, maybe put something lighter from the crease to browbone to highlight? Pale, ethereal shimmery aqua/teal or pale shimmery copper (maybe Fire?) might do it. I did that yesterday (obviously not quite those colours because I don't have them - yet!), and it didn't turn out badly at all. Had to blend a lot at the crease, but it helped the colours show a little more.

Alternative rocker? :?:
Agree - crease-to-browbone highlight is a must for my eyes. I have what I like to call an "alien head".... you know those green aliens with the huge black eyes?... That's kind of how my caricature should look. I really like shimmery pinks for this purpose. I frequently use Disco as a crease-to-browbone highlight, or any golden color works really well. Good advice Rhys.
