Très chic, summery, and simple - I like it!

Karen, your eyes are almost the same shade as mine. Please post more photos of your experiments!!! Our complexions look similar, as well. What do you wear for foundation? Thanks for sharing your secrets! Lauren

It looks better in real life...hooded eyes don't make for great pics because you can't see the shadow very well, but I had fun with it. I mix my foundation at about 1 part ebony to about 10 parts ivory- but haven't actually measured in months- so it may be a little different now. Kind of a redhead, freckles, green eyes, pinkie skin, Scottish and German background.

Lauren- if your eyes are about the same as mine...Grassroots Green is a good color to try. I do a wash of Vanilla, and then Grassroots as the crease/liner color.

Yes Mikie we've crowned you Queen of the Giggles- it's good to laugh at the absurdities of life...what else can you do sometimes?

Here's another one...it's a trial run of the rocker eye- done at the end of the day, after working on many different experiments (still trying to make a primer- still with no luck).

Lid color is Slick, shade color is Rebel, and the liner color is Blackheart- all new.

Those new colors look wonderful!!! I actually use the SN clear creme liner as my lid primer every day! It works SO well, and I just smooth a little on each lid with my finger. Works really, really well!!

The colours are gorgeous, Karen! But as one hooded eye gal to another, if you really want to do rocker, maybe put something lighter from the crease to browbone to highlight? Pale, ethereal shimmery aqua/teal or pale shimmery copper (maybe Fire?) might do it. I did that yesterday (obviously not quite those colours because I don't have them - yet!), and it didn't turn out badly at all. Had to blend a lot at the crease, but it helped the colours show a little more.

Alternative rocker? :?:

Today's 8-8-08 & supposedly (of *course* it WILL be!) a Lucky Day! AND it's Friday!

Today I am going to use Hint & Seagrass ~ & Carnal blush ~ & Summer Fling > sounds like naughtiness at the beach, ROFGiggling!!! Maybe Envy for liner with a bit of Grassroots Green over it. Woohoo!

Have *fun* today, whatever you do!

This look is out of the ordinary for me because I'm wearing a GREEN!! :) I am normally a brown-lover, with purples thrown in here and there. This is the first time I've posted a full face on any forum, so I'm a bit nervous. :) But, here is my face of the day! I'm wearing:

Heavenly Glow as a blusher, Perfecting Powder over my entire face, with a bit of Angel Glow for highlight on my forehead and upper cheek areas. I'm wearing my Organic Lip Gloss in clear, with a bit of Sandy eye shadow mixed with it for a bit of color!
And on my eyes, I'm wearing the clear creme eye liner as a primer on my lids. On the outer half of my lids I'm wearing Lush, and on the inner half I'm wearing Sierra (had to have a brown in there--this is one of my very favorite browns EVER), and they are a bit blended in between. From the upper crease to brow, I'm wearing a dusting of Vanilla. I've lined my upper lids with Envy creme liner, and then a bit of mascara. I LOVE SN eye shadows. :) Thank you for looking!!

Very nice, ldlredhen! I love the eyeshadow on you. You did a great job on blending, the colors flawlessly flow together. Also, how cool is it that you used Sandy with your Clear Gloss. Too cool!
