Ooh, I'll be looking for this gumball! I'm obsessed with lip stains! I've tried almost every lip stain from the big companies -- prestige and drugstore. I love that clear, natural, just-bitten look.

Got a sample of the Cherry Red lip tint with my order today. It's very red... but it's a cool, bright red. I put some on before errands and dinner. It survived through smoking a cigarette (I know, I know) and drinking a bottle of water. It didn't really make it through dinner... but I still had a hint of color. I think it's important to apply it more heavily than you might originally expect is necessary in order to get good results, and then I recommend based on this experience to not moisturize your lips until it's had a chance to fully set (20 minutes?).

I like it, though, Karen!!

I was able to test out the lip stain today, as did my friend who normally uses the Benetint. My first reaction, OMG ITS SMELLS SO GOOD! Then, whoa my lips are really red. I'm used to sheer stains, so I had to really rub at my lips with some baby wipes to make the color softer on me (good sign of staying power! I'm not joking when I had to really scrub/wipe at my lips ;) ) I prefer the flushed lip look (like I get using Kisser Slicker in Soft), so I was expecting something like that. I wonder if i can somehow apply it thinner so its not so pigmented? The color was also a little cool for me.

My friend used her sample and also had to wipe some off, but it looked really pretty on her!

Overall, I think its a very strong stain, but I prefer a sheerer one because I like to layer the Kisser Slicker, but when I did that my lips were like super whoa, like burlesque almost ^_^ Consistency is really cool, like a gel kinda, maybe thats why the Benetint is a liquid, because its "watered down" to be more sheer? Could that be possible with SN lip stain? Could there be another color perhaps more of a pink/red flush like Soft gives? I know I like the natural flush of lips with tinch of pink :)

Yeah, it *is* really red. I have really pink lips most of the time so it wasn't that unnatural on me - I had to really layer it to get it to be bright red. But if your lips are naturally lighter... yeah, it might be nice to have something softer.

Yeah...I actually wore it to a burlesque show last weekend. The club had a speakeasy theme, and the entertainment was a vaudville style show.

I got my sample, and love it! I needed some cool red (can't wait to get my hands on Crimson), and this hit the spot. Just curious, the newly released stain, Bitten, is based on this? If not, I'd love to get the remainder off this sample off your hands, Karen, name your price :D

Duh, I can't read, Bitten is a gloss, not a stain. Well, then, may I please order more of the stain? I'm in love, I need more. BTW, Samantha, I found that if I don't touch my lips together after applying the stain until it sets, like 5-10 mins, there is hardly any build up in the lighter parts. This stain is just the perfect color and I can play with it: I already layered Sparkle, Polished Pink and just a colorless balm over it, all with great effects. Please, don't cut me off :D

Funny but the moment I tried my sample, I thought of you Egerandi 8-)

It's a superb colour - I wish I had the confidence to wear it because it's *just* the right red. As a stain - superb, but pretty please, if this exact colour could also make it into a sheer gloss (Damsel / Seedy / Bonbon style) for the more faint-hearted, I'd be over the moon! I've ordered Bitten and am really looking forward to it (looks a bit warmer than this, so hopefully both can be warranted).

Yeah - I actually think that this lip stain plus a matching gloss would be amazing.
