A miracle hand cream

Post by pinkfox » Fri May 22, 2009 10:14 pm

Karen it would be super if you could whip us up a miracle in a jar for our hands. Sort of a "face lift" cream.... I think we do such a good job with anti aging products on our face that we forget to take care of our hands. Nothing worse than taking 10 years off your face only to have your hands give you away!

I hear you! We had a woman in the shop who looks like she could be her daughter's sister- but she was complaining up and down about her hands. The main things that I see in hands are age spots, and thin skin- along with varying levels of dryness. Is that about right? I do rub the rest of my serum into the backs of my hands- and there's actually a pretty clear line of where the freckles start. Vitamin C is the way to go for them, but I'll ponder it some more.

Mine is less the age spots than the crepey skin that never seems to go away. No one believes I'm 47 but I feel my hands look 60, LOL!

The backs of my hands are perpetually dry. They seem to not absorb moisture as well as I age. I am too young to have spots etc but I can tell that moisture loss is the real problem and I suspect antioxidant use would be helpful (as you suggest) to prevent aging of that thin skin on the hands.
