ALG graininess

Post by cclee00 » Thu Jun 27, 2013 9:15 am

While applying Blushberry today, I noticed it squished particularly easily against my lips and left strange little grainy bits on them. Thinking perhaps it was just something on my lips, I wiped and reapplied, but noticed even more grainy bits, both on my lips and in the tube. It's as if the formula formed tiny clumps. Does this mean anything bad? I've only had the tube a year at most, I'm pretty sure. This is only the second time I've worn it (I was a little nervous about the bright color) ;) so perhaps that batch got weird somehow?

I think it is just kind of fragile and a softer formula than the others. I find that I need to not press down too much and let it warm up on my lips so it glides on. The ALG is my all time favorite formula though :) I love how glossy it is!
