Best Brush for Applying SN Foundation?

I am going to be trying SN foundation as soon as I get my order.

Does anyone have suggestions, opinions, or thoughts on what brush works best for applying this brand of foundation? I typically used a kabuki with my last MMU.
I am open to anything that gives good coverage (I ordered the medium coverage foundation) and still looks natural.

If rec a brush type, please let me know if you use synthetic or natural hair bristles.

Starlight, I use synthetic kabukis. That's what I used with other MMUs & that's what I use for my SN. I'm currently favoring a flat-top synthetic buki, but I switch around!

I use a synthetic flat top, too. (I have one of the new flat top kabukis on its way, and I am excited!) I just like the heavier coverage it gives in comparison to a kabuki. You will probably find that your current brush will work fine, though! Also, I use kabukis for finishing powder and primers.

So far, it's unanimous! I use all sythetic brushes. They are much softer than the animal hair ones. I like a regular kabuki (with the new medium base) for foundation and the flat top for Date Bait. Quick and easy! Lauren

I just happened to be thinking of changing to a synthetic brush now anyway....BUT, do the natural hair brushes work with this foundation also or is synthetic best?

Yes, natural brushes will work just fine. For most of us, we tried synthetic after using natural hair, and decided not to go back. The synthetics are much softer.

Do you have suggestions for a specific synthetic flat top kabuki?

I LOVE synthetics, even my art brushes for painting are all synthetics. There's no shedding, no smell, great skin-feel, and they pick up pigment really well. My natural hair brush didn't particularly bother me, but you just can't beat a synthetic for softness.

My favorite flat tops are the Forever Female versions which Silk Naturals just so happens to carry. I don't have any of their traditional kabukis except for the baby one and they are just as great. I've tried 3 brands of flat tops and it is my opinion that these are the best.

If you decide to go synthetic, i also HIGHLY recommend the ultimate eye shadow brush. You won't be disappointed.

I have a synthetic brushes from a few lines. They all work fine, but I do prefer my synthetic flat top I got from Karen. The bristles are a little shorter and less floppy than other synthetic flat tops I have tried, and it seems a little denser. I will let you know on the flat top kabuki when I get it. Also, I second Xarata's rec for the Ultimate Eyeshadow brush.

I just got the large kabuki brush that Karen sells with my last order, I really love it. There is one big draw back to the large Kabuki, because it’s so soft you can’t do your makeup quickly, you want to keep touching your face with the brush;) I also have the long handled flat top (purchased somewhere else but it’s the same brand) that is great for heaver coverage. I use one natural haired brush for foundation frequently, an Italian badger flat top, I love it because it is so large you cover a lot of face in less time. I use and Italian badger brush “flawless face” style brush for my perfecting powder and or primers.
