Going out with the Girls.........what colours to wear?

Hi all

I'm going out with the girls on 12th April and being new to make up (at 25....lol), I'm clueless as to what colours to wear going out. I have red hair and blue eyes, does anyone have any good combos???? - please remeber I'm new to make up and I haven't a clue what this means < > seen it on other posts.

I also have the angel shimmer glow, but do I wear this over ther perfecting powder (after foundation of course) or before it?

Sarah, this is my third attempt to answer you. My posts keep disappearing...VERY aggravating,LOL! The < > just means the outer corners of your eyes...I go along the outer 3rd of my lower lashes & carry that same color into the outer 3rd of my crease. I'm going to hit send & see if this'll go through. mikie

Now then, Sarah...I like to use Angel as eyeshadow or highlight or anywhere color like a finisher. That's the beauty of minerals ~ they're as goof-proof as they come ~ colors for the most part can go anywhere, just no green or blue on lips,lol.

Hi,
Mickie's advice with the Angel is right on! Generally I put it on over the Perfecting Powder for maximum glow- but under gives it a more subtle look. Generally I use it on the top of my cheekbones, and down the bridge of my nose (stop before the tip otherwise you'll look greasy instead of glowing).

For out with the girls- what are you doing? Is it refined and elegant or are you whooping it up at bars? What are you wearing?

Here's my picks for bar nights-
For easy, easy- Wild Woman applied wet as a liner along with just a little bit of Angel to highlight your brow bone- it's good for drinkin' nights and goes well if you're wearing something a little more sexy. Wild Woman was made for Girl's Night. If you're going to need a greasy breakfast the next morning- go with this look- it holds-up well.

Another fave of mine- Charmed and Sprite as a highlight with a light colored lippie like Pout or Gold Blush.

Bare and pretty much anything is good too. My personal faves (I'm a pale pink redhead with green eyes) are Sizzle or Idolize.

Another easy sparkly look is Cashmere just applied as a wash all over your lid- and then a little bit of Angel or Vanilla as a highlight color- it was designed for simple glam.

i think green is a knockout color on redheads. my two fav greens are charmed (shimmery spring green) and grassroots(medium grass green).

Since you're *new* to makeup and want to keep it easy, I would say:
*If you don't have the Ultimate Eyeshadow Brush, get it
Bare-all the way to the brow bone
Charmed- in the < outer corners of your eyes
Grassroots to line!
Angel Glow to highlight! (brow bone and cheekbones)
Gold Blush Lippie
