price of some moisturizer samples doubled?

Are my eyes playing tricks on me? I thought samples of of the moisturizers were $0.99 or less. I have Camellia Passionfruit Moisturizer - Size : 5 ml. sample on my cart for a few days. Today the price is listed as $1.50.

I think Camellie-Passionfruit moisturizer is one of SN's more luxurious moisturizer. Just like the Intensive Moisturizer or Facelift Serum, the samples are priced at $1.50.

Yes, unfortunately as much as it pained me to do it the cost of the packaging, as well as the materials have gone up a lot this year. We were really losing a pretty significant amount of money on certain skin care samples, so we had to bring the sample prices more in line with our actual costs.
Believe it or not we're barely barely breaking even on them. The packaging cost just shot through the roof.

I need to make a blog post about it, and hope to get to do that this afternoon.
