super serum/acid question

Post by namomof3 » Sat Mar 05, 2011 6:43 pm

I am wondering what serum to get full-size? I read that the super serum reacts with acids- what "acids" exactly? Would that include a diluted vinegar toner I use 2x/day? My current routine includes- cleanser/tone/serum. I am 31yr. have very oily skin and I live in a humid climate so I don't really need moisturizer IMO. I don't have sun damage although I do spend time in the sun more now than in the past. I am looking to just have healthy skin, control breakouts, reduce acne scaring and prevent fine lines if at all possible>
In search of the perfect mix!!

The acids that react with Super Serum are exfoliating acids like AHA (alpha hydroxy acids) and somewhat with BHAs (beta hydroxy acids). From my research, apple cider vinegar (ACV) does contain a very dilute AHA. I would proceed with caution if you use ACV in your toner.

I would stick with the Vitamin C Peptide or Facelift serums if you love the toner.
