Can I know how long does 1 tablespoon of foundation lasts you?

It really depends. There is a small number who go through that much in about a month, others it takes three or more months. I generally take pretty close to three months.

How long is a piece of string? It's a difficult question to answer. It depends on application technique, how many layers you apply (too many, if you're using a formula which doesn't give enough coverage versus fewer layers on a heavier coverage). it also depends on what kind of brush you use to apply it. When I came here, I used a kabuki brush from a different brand that is notorious for 'eating' powder, flicking powder into the air (and thus wasting it) and for causing uneven application. I got through a sample in a few days because of wastage. When I got a more suitable brush (the Ultimate flat top is excellent), application was so much easier and I got much more mileage (and less waste) from the foundation.

Then you can get fancy by adding in your own personal touches, mixing finishing powders and glows into your foundation blend... Yeah, you probably want a simple answer and Jen's given you good advice but the reason it's not easy to answer is because it's such a versatile thing that you'll rarely find two people using it quite the same way. Just give it a try and have fun with it.

Edit: OK, I answered totally wrong. Long day. I answered how long a batch of foundation lasts me, not an entire baggie. It lasts me about 2 and a half months for a whole baggie.

On average, it takes about 3-4 months for me. I agree with Cupcake--a good brush is important. I use the one that is labeled as the "ultimate blush brush." It will also depend on your personal mix--how much ivory you use. As you can see in my avatar, I'm very fair, so I use a good amount of ivory in my mix.

oh thanks everyone who replied! just wanted to know an average the foundation amount used... i know it's different for everyone. but i think on average it'll last a good 3 months. thanks again!
