So, I was recently looking at xsparkage's blog and awhile back she did these looks inspired by Twilight.
Here is her Alice look:
I am wondering which e/s you would recommend (maybe I'll have to mix some?) to achieve this burgundy/purple color?

Maybe if you mixed Vacation or Bewitched with Flame or a hot pink blush?

I think maybe if you mixed tart with either black or aubergine? Hot pink stuff is generally not officially eye safe though, so mix at your own risk. Awesome look!
Susan sent me a bright pink eyeshadow a while ago, I might do some mixing and give it a go! I've never done a black and pink eye before.

Maybe Purr and Adventure mixed with Aubergine or something to darken it up a little. That look is really different

I like it.

Ohhhh, so pretty! I love dark purple looks.
I had a play with my shadows and mixed Red Hot with Bewitched and a touch of Raven because I don't have Aubergine (though I do have a sample around here somewhere...hmmm). It's pretty close to the pic, especially foiled over Film Noir, the only problem is the black separates out a little... I'd take a pic to show you but I can't figure out how to get my photos from the camera to the computer without my card reader!
I think Aubergine with Bewitched and Red Hot would pretty much be spot on. Only problem is, Red Hot is discontinued... Flame with Aubergine foiled over Film Noir in the crease might be a close second while giving it staying power.

Such a gorgeous look!! I thought I'd have to recreate it, and I tried, and failed lol... I haven't the skills! But the colours I used were Teak-ie with flame over it for the base (I'll use this more often it looked great with black liner!) then Bewitched (foiled), then Aubergine, then it all went a bit messy and Red Hot didn't even get a look in. I'm not very tidy

But I think those colours could work but I'd have to use a mixing medium to keep everything so clean.
Beautiful look!

Red hot an Aubergine were closest when I tried. Flame is a little pinker, but also works.I tried a few brighter pinks(lol, madison), but they just didn't work. You still need the black though and the look won't be dead on- it worked best when foiled. I would have taken a pic but I really don't do purple very well (i look like i was punched in the face) and that look is a bold purple. I have almost every SN eyeshadow released and that kind of vibrant wine color just isn't there (i can't wear purple, but i still have them because they're just so darn pretty). i have a lip liner that color and it's one of my favorites.

May I expand on your question? I'm having an eclipse bday party for my 13 yr old daughter and I'm going to take them to the midnight showing when it opens! I thought I'ld do some fun twighlight inspired makeup for them to wear when we go. Do you have any ideas for that?
