I will be looking forward to hearing what your results are

my lids are really oily too. I can the shine on them before I apply my makeup in the mornings and if I don't is a primer I don't think my shadows even makes it an hour. I use the cheapo $1 ELF primer and that works really well, but something natural would be great

Just wanted to pop in and say that my eyelids took 7 1/2 hours before they creased yesterday!
They didn`t crease much, but that is when I started to notice it. That is extremely awesome because I crease like there is no tomorrow without anything, but even with the elf primer I crease after hours have passed! If this continues to work I will continue to do this!!
And it is great because it does not dry out my eyelids. I am not sure that this works in summertime though, when it gets hot, but will see what happens, but I have a sneaky suspicion I need real primer then...But we`ll see, we`ll seeeeeee...
The experiment continues, stay tuned for the next episode!

I'm watching this experiment! I have really oily eyelids...well, pretty much my whole eye area. It's shiny even with powder on. Concealers, primers, mascara and cream shadows all melt, run, and eventually end up in my eyes, burning, by the end of the day! Even sooner in the summer! But if I don't wear a primer the shadows are gone within hours, so I have to wear it, even though it eventually runs and burns.
A few weeks ago I was thinking about how a good moisturizer can actually decrease oily skin and I wondered if a gel moisturizer in the eye area would calm down the oil...but I don't have such a gel moisturizer on hand right now.
So, please keep posting updates! If it works for you consistently for a week I'll break my no-buy to try out the serum!

I there superwahz:)
You have been thinking the same as me then, two souls - same thought, lol
I didn`t have time to take pictures yesterday and not today either, but will tomorrow! Then it is easier to see what I am talking about.
I really am so SURPRIZED that this is working so super well for me! I mean, I AM creasing, BUT, I am not detecting major differences when I do this and comparing it with my elf primer (that I have been really happy with!)
Yesterday I took a good look at my eyelids before I removed the makeup after 11 hours, and I had creases but they weren`t major at all! I really think I am on to something here! At least for my own part. I don`t know if this would work for everyone, but it is easy enough to get a sample and try
Soooooo, having done this everyday for 5 days (including today) I have not seen anything yet that want me to stop this experiment, because it is really working for me (so far anyway)
And a plus side, my eyelids are starting to feel less oily before I put on eyemakeup, it feels like my eyelids are normalizing instead off feeling greasy and oily...That is a plus for me, because it is not very nice to feel everytime you blink-that the eyelids feel like they are stcking together, lol. Too much info? Sorryyyyy, lolololol
Tomorrow I will take pictures of my eyelids right after the eyemakeup application and after 8 hours or more. It all depends when I am removing it because I never put on makeup the second I get up, I need my barrel with tea first, lol
So, tommorrow = pictures!
BUT, I want to mention that I DO like primers! Because they make the eyelid more even colorwise, which this doesn`t do for me. I have a few tiny veins that are showing so I WILL continue to use a primer when I want a more smooth "canvas" result. So I am really curious about the sample of eyeshadow primer from SN (the one that isn`t their own) that someone is sweet enough to send to me.
But this experiment is fun anyway because this shows that experimenting with things can make results that we didn`t expect. Hey, isn`t that what happened when they discovered Insulin???
Okokokokok, this is NOT a insulin type of "discovery" of course, just shows that thinking outside the box sometimes produces results we don`t expect, lololol
Have a LOVELY crease free - oily free- day all!
`gz!

Wow! Thanks for sharing... and I love your scientific approach!! I've got an Urban Decay Primer Potion from a palette, but even with that I crease!!! I do, however, have a habit of moisturizing my eyelids... so I don't think it's a matter of hydrating it. Then again, I use my face lotion for that purpose and haven't tried using a serum yet!

Hi again guys, sorry for the delay!
I was`t feeling very well yesterday so I had to postpone the pictures, BUT I have taken them now and will post soon!
I put on the Aloe and green tea serum as usual today, and then I did my makeup.
I did my makeup 07.00 o`clock in the morning. I don`t usually put on my makeup that early as I am never well in the mornings (I am stiff as a board...), but today I had to get up for an appointment so I got an early start!
As mentioned I put on full makeup at 07.00 and took picture of the eyelids.
Checking the mirror at 12.00, showed no creasing.
Checked again at 15.00, no creasing.
Checked again at 1745, creasing, but not oily at all! Took new pictures to document what it looked like.
For me these results are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than with my elf primer
.
My elf primer DO keep the creases at bay, absolutely, but not with these results!
It actually seems that my eyelids - that have been getting the Aloe/Green tea serum everyday, even on days without makeup - have begun to "normalize" in some way. This is the ninth day I have used the serum and have noticed a significant decreasing in creasing, so to speak, lol
Having used the serum for these nine days straight have made me believe fighting oily eyelids and creasing, is possible, and not only possible but with using NATURAL serum and no cones.
I am convinced that the serum I used has had an significant effect on the oilyness, and that my eyelids do NOT feel dry at any point before, during or after aplication of the serum, just...normal and pleasant.
I should mention that I earlier in the past has done the same experiment! But, then I used a moisturizer and NOT a serum like this. The oil in the moisturizer made my eyelids very oily and sticky -even with continous use and patience.
So I think personally the reason this serum works for me is that it contains moisture and not "oil" except the small ammount glyserin used.
So in conclusion: I will continue doing this to see if the results are holding up for me.
But I am so very, very pleasantly surprized at what this did to my oily and greasy eyelids, that these results hopefully can help others to at least get a sample and try for themselves!
Just keep in mind that your results may vary from mine! But it is at least worth a try I think
I will upload the pictures tomorrow, as it is very late here now.
So stay tuned for the pics if you would like to see them.
Have a great grease and creasefree day, lol

Sorry for the delay guys, but here are the pictures I promised you!
Here taken ar 07.00

Here taken 17.45 , that is 10 1/2 hours after aplication with NO primer underneath, only Aloe and green tea serum!

Here you see the creasing better than on the other eye, the other one was like this but you can`t really see it for some reason..
Here with the eye open...duh..lol

Nothing has been photoshopped. these are as is, so to speak.
Please excuse spider lashes! I need a new mascara, this one is soooo dry, gah...
Also: I want to do the same test with elf primer for comparison also. This way I can get a feel what the real difference is in this "scientiffic" test, lol.
SO, will be back with more pictures sooon!
