Hot pink eye shadow?
Hot pink eye shadow?
What can I say. I have a love for those bold bright pinks. I couldn't find one on the site though.
I have a lot of golden pink in my skin, so gold pinks tend to not show up or are just straight gold.
The closest effect I've been able to get is with Pop foiled. Is there a blush I should use instead?

Re: Hot pink eye shadow?
You could try using Tart blush, or asking if anyone still has some Flamingo hot pink eyeshadow that they might be willing to part with (although being so rare, it's unlikely).
Re: Hot pink eye shadow?
there were 2-flamingo (never on site) and cotton candy (dc'ed) but tart blush should fit the bill just fine.
I keep asking for a line of matte neons -red, pink(which we had), tangerine, yellow, lime (which we have), bright blue (we have poly), and bright purple (nothing quite neon matte purple just yet). I would love them for a fiery sunset look and i've seen some very cute pink and green strawberry shortcake looks.
maybe she's saving the neons for summer? lol

I would totally go for that, I love bright colours on the eye. I do a look with bright peachy orange (like the inside of a cantaloupe) and bright teal, it looks awesome (I thinkI keep asking for a line of matte neons -red, pink(which we had), tangerine, yellow, lime (which we have), bright blue (we have poly), and bright purple (nothing quite neon matte purple just yet). Re: Hot pink eye shadow?
I have Flamingo. It kind of scared me in the jar, in fact I didn't use it for months, but I saw a pink smokey eye in a pic that was really pretty. Flamingo was my only pink shadow that was vibrant enough to really show up and it looked really nice.

I would love a clone of Lancome's "Makover"

I get compliments every time I wear it. It is such a fun color! I would love an SN version of it.

Perhaps one could take Flame e/s (a vibrant red) and mix into it some lighter pink to make it more pink than red, it would probably still remain pretty vibrant, so maybe it would be like a hot pink? Or to make it more cool some purply e/s can be added.

Re: Hot pink eye shadow?
I wasthinking of Flame as I was reading this thread. On my skin, Flame actually is a dark hot pink/magenta color (I wish it were more of a red than a pink on me). In fact, it's really close to the Bare Escentual color Beautiful Lisa (which is awesome, because that one contains carmine).

Huh. I thought Flame was red. I might have to add it to my wish list. Thanks!
Re: Hot pink eye shadow?
Now that I am reading the description I think that mixing might be perfect. Thanks for this suggestion!Oxana124 wrote:Perhaps one could take Flame e/s (a vibrant red) and mix into it some lighter pink to make it more pink than red, it would probably still remain pretty vibrant, so maybe it would be like a hot pink?
