similar to bobbi?

Post by JenK » Thu Dec 10, 2009 6:10 pm

I just got Bobbi in the mail and really like it. It is a bit lighter than my natural lip color. Does anyone know how Figment and Rhapsody compare? Also, any other plum colors jump to mind.
(I am so amazed how different the lip colors look on everyone. I never realized how much peoples lip colors vary.)

Thanks!!!

If you scroll down a bit on this page there are swatches of Bobbi and Figment.....
Rhapsody is a ittle sheerer and browner. Fig Leaf is my plum staple.

When you look at Bobbi on the SN webpage, it also shows the swatch of Figment right above it: http://www.silknaturals.com/creb/produc ... cts_id=937

More coverage, but similar color would be Fashionista:

Figment and Fashionista are fairly close in tone - not identical, but close. Figment is very sheer on me. Fashionista has more coverage, but it's still a nude. I like it, but I think I'd like it just a touch heavier. It's not bad or anything. And it's definitely got more colour to it than Figment does.

Thanks for all the replies.
I did have Fig Leaf, but it jumped in the washer (so happy it didn't make it into the drier). I tried to save it, but it just wasn't the same.

I never even noticed Fashionista, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Can't wait to try a new more colors. Thanks for everyones help!!

I've recently fallen in love with Bobbi too! And the swatches of Black Dahlia look divine! Is there a non-vegan version of these?

I haven't found anything non-vegan similar to Bobbi. I was looking at Whirlwind, and got a sample: it's a very pretty plum-ish color, but has a lot of shine/pearly finish to it, not as lowkey as Bobbi. As for Black Dahlia, I think if you have Swank and a non-vegan plummy lippie, you're all set :)

Could someone swatch bobbi next to say, figleaf or sweet nothing if you have them?

I only have Bobbi, because I had to give my Sweet Nothing away: looked way too dark on me... Weird, as it's supposed to be the sheerer of the two. In any case, if you have dark lips, it's something to consider, as it's not gonna be the same as the swatch. I stopped even considering getting anything plummy until the vegan line came out. Bought all four plum/wine of that one, hehe, and didn't regret. Now, if the feel would be the same as the non-vegan... but I'm not complaining, the colors are all mine!
