I have Honey and love the color, but am having a hard time coming up with other colors to wear with it. I know that some of you have recommended Charmed, but that isn't in my eyeshadow arsenal, and not a color I think I want to get.
Here are the colors that I do have:
The Geo Collection
Mink
Sapphire
Emerald
Teal Appeal
Sea Grass
Caperberry
Opal
Fire
Brimestone
Whisper
Breathe
Gasp
Breathless
Idolize
Can someone please suggest color combinations that will work with Honey?
Thanks,Hollis
Color Suggestions for Honey
Re: Color Suggestions for Honey
Hi Hollis!
I agree that Honey needs a warmer tone with it to look its best. In looking at your list, your best bets are Mink, Terra, and Seagrass. I might even just do an all over wash of Honey with Emerald or Sapphire liner. I would pair Honey ( all over wash) and Terra (outer v) with Basalt liner. I would also do an inner lid and crease in Honey with Mink on the outer lid and crease and add a Quartzite brow highlight. I would do the previous combo with Seagrass replacing Mink, also. I hope others chime in. I would definitely like to hear how others would pair it!

Re: Color Suggestions for Honey
I haven't tried it with Idolize, but it might work as Idolize does have a good bit of gold in it.
Jen's right. You could also use Caperberry and Honey together, with Aztec or Quartzite as a highlighter? Moonstone is a really warm grey, so that *might* work with it too.
Mink is another one of those perfect shades - that one I know does work with Honey, cos I have tried it.

Ahhhhh! How could I forget my favorite Aztec?!!!!! It would definitely go well. The Caperberry, too. I hope between the two of us, you have some pretty good options there, Hollis!
Have a great day!

Re: Color Suggestions for Honey
Honey is almost gold so it's hard to go wrong.
Earthtones with always look good (greens and browns).
When you say you have the Geo collection, do you have the additional colors to the collection, because I'm thinking Scallop Pink or Beach Plum could be gorgeous with Honey.
It looks like you really like neutrals so...
Maybe play with Bone, Honey, and either seagrass or caperberry.

Re: Color Suggestions for Honey
Xarata, I have caperberry, but not scallop pink or beach plum, those are in my wishlist awaiting my next order.
Jen, I tried Seagrass and Honey together today, prior to reading you post. It definately has possibilities but needs alittle bit of tweaking, somehow it ended up being to green or to something for my liking this am, so will have to spend sometime playing with this combo to get it to my liking.
Thanks for all the suggestions, between you , Sam and Rhys I should be able to come up with something or several somethings that work.

Re: Color Suggestions for Honey
UPDATE:
I tweaked the Honey and Seagrass combo this morning, and ended up just wide lineing with Seagrass over the clear liner sealer and using Honey over the rest of the lid to the brow and really loved this look. Thanks, again for all the color suggestions. Hollis.
