Massage bars

I was just reading the post about shaving creams and bars, and I was wondering if it would it be possible to make a massage bar? I've never tried them before and don't know much about them, I usually use oils but love the idea of something a bit less messy!

I got lush's heavanilli free when I spent over £15 and OMG not only does it may my skin super soft a supple but it smells good enough to eat.

Hey Sarah, if you're near a lush do get one of those in the meantime.

The Lush ones are great but given the price of them off-set against what it'd cost to send those out international airmail, I'm not sure if Karen would get many overseas customers for that as they'd be way too expensive to post.

Yeah my housemate suggested the lush ones, I'm going to pop in to the one in Brum and have a sniff this week methinks! Its just so much cooler to get them from here I worry about how much money I spend on my SN addiction, but when I think about how I just bypass all the makeup and cosmetics counters now, I'm probably saving a bunch

All my make up is minerals so no makeup counter for me. My way is "if the company can't take time to make a foundation to match my skin tone, then they don't get my money on other things" (but I do like to ogle).

I know it's a bit harsh but I can't buy over the counter foundation (not that I would now but 2 odd years ago so frustrating) because it's all too dark and warm. My mother and I was in Debenhams once and she went to the estee lauder counter to try their mineral foundation. Half way through her mini make over with the foundation, the sales lady turns to me and says "oh I can't do a little try on you with any of our foundations because your so fair skinned" (well duh). I tried really hard to not give the lady a dirty look (wasn't her fault they don't do my shade), while my mother suppressed the giggles - grrrrrrrrrrrr. So now I only buy over the counter are a few mascara's here and there.

Yes try to go to lush and have a good whiff of the heavanilli, they should make a cake that smells just like it.

I'm pondering it....I've sort of dabbled with them before, but for massages I actually like the Apricot Cleansing Oil because it washes off.

Are you looking for a massage bar that you'd actually use instead of a massage oil, or one that you'd use more like a lotion bar?

I'd love a lotion bar too. Been on the search for one recently, and hard to find one with good ingredients that ships international (and for a reasonable price). So small enough to not add a huge cost to shipping would be great!

Karen I would love you forever if you made a lotion bar!!!!Not that I don't already... but I really like these because of the ease it is to travel with as well as I don't get the sticky feeling from them as much as just plain lotion....Please,please look into this, I know that you can make it and it will be wonderful!
