100% Silk Powder

Post by trixiejim » Tue May 20, 2008 3:17 pm

Karen, I would LOVE it if you sold 100% silk powder! I like to use it as a finishing powder and touch up powder throughout the day. It really works great at diminishing the look of my pores. Since you're the "silk queen" I think it would be a big hit!

I only know of one other mmu co. that sells it, although there are probably some others. I'd start buying it from you in a heartbeat!

Thanks for your consideration!!

Kim :)

ITA I would love a 100% Silk powder with no extras that make it rough.

I currently use 100% silk powder as a primer under my makeup and would definitely buy it here as opposed to the other company I buy it from. It would be great to get everything in one place!

Hi,
I've been puttering around with something like that a silky primer that's all functional ingredients- no mica- so it would be tougher on oil, and blur pores and things pretty well. I'm waiting on a few shipments to try a few more things, but I've been pondering it.

Are you using the silk mainly for oil control, or for other reasons??

HI KAREN, I use it for oil control and to diminish my pores. I love it being 100% silk with nothing else added. Maybe you could offer a 100% silk powder and then something else, like what you said you've been experimenting with! btw, I'm glad you don't put kaolin clay in your products. It breaks me out, and I've read so many others say the same thing.

Thanks Karen!

I use it mainly to diminish pores, and it is fantastic for my skin! My pores absolutely disappear. I would rather have it with no other ingredients unless perhaps it would have extra benefits for my skin.

I use it for oil control and would like pure silk powder.

I realize I am in the minority here but I much prefer the sheer perfecting powder you already have vs 100% silk powder. I have used plain silk powder before and it didn't do much for me - whatever is mixed into the perfecting powders in addition to silk makes them "better" to me.

I'm pondering the silk powder- and do you want it plain- absolutely 100% silk, or with a slight tint (something along the lines of Tempt Tryst, but with no shimmer)?? No biggie either way- just let me know.

Silk prices went up A LOT (like tripled)- but we can handle it.

I would love a tinted silk like TT, but completely matte. I'd buy BIG jars of it!!!
