I've found my Achilles Heel, and it's shimmery! ;)

So I checked out an order this morning. I'm on a tight budget so I get as much fun brewing up an order thoughtfully. Well, a couple hours later and ye go and change the GWP to say "surprise eyeshadow". That's it!!! I cracked  It took less than a minute to grab a couple things and check out another order just because I couldn't resist a new surprise eyeshadow  Who was it said they're like crack? 8-) Haha oooh SN, you have sooo got my number!

:) That's a treat! What color is the eye-shadow? Waiting for my order to arrive so I can try the skincare samples and make another order!

May I refer you to the 12-Step Program (I believe you have reached Step 6):
12 step program to creating the addiction:
Step 1: Sample Sample Sample
Step 2: Touch that first synthetic brush
Step 3: Create a "go-to" basics set (foundation, finisher, blush, shadow, liner, and lippie- oh and of course a couple basic brushes!)
Step 4: Try new things (new colors!yay!)
Step 5: Advanced Techniques need new powders! (contouring, glows, special liner shades, and more brushes)
Step 6: Collect them All! (ahem- from the girl that has/had ALL the lippies!!! muahahahaha)
Step 7: Keep it fresh! New Season, new colors
Step 8: Purging the Stash (send unloved colors to new homes)
Step 9: Empty Palette Syndrome (aka: Rebuilding the stash)
Step 10: Enabling Others
Step 11: Because you DESERVE it purchases (Big bonus, tax return, stressful weeks)
Step 12: Lather, Rinse, Repeat
*There currently is NOT a 12-Step Program for curbing the addiction- only for identifying how it is created.

It's mine too...we were only ever supposed to sell Perfecting Powder- and then I got my hands on some pigment. With the last collection we hit maximum capacity on eye shadows- 144 colors. I was digging through the site recently, and it turns out that we've come out with a new product essentially every other day since the beginning of the web site almost 2 years ago.

Thriller was a "hey try something fun" color- the new one is a bit more toned-down, but I'm not dropping any other hints!

ROFL  I *love* that 12 step programme! I'm on Step 7 now, I just had to have me a whole new set of colours for the new season. Okay, so I've never done anything because it's been in fashion, but hey, that "new season" excuse is good for at least four uses per year, yes? ;)

Step 8 looks fun but doesn't that require.....

*gasp* parting with eyeshadows ??? *panic* How will I survive??

Focus on Step 9, I hear you say. I'll be brave...

Oooh Step 8 does foster a whole new set of addictions with the rehomed eyeshadow recipients. Yes, I can cope now I see this in the new light of being an unselfish act of community care and social wellbeing.

Hey, I've given away literally hundreds of eye shadows - I have only about 200 left in my personal collection!

But it really DOES give you such a warm fuzzy feeling to create a fellow addic....uhh...give the eye shadows to a person who will very much appreciate them :D

Then again, I have mates who've never seen my bathroom, and come over here and try to narrow down their choices. Why would anyone need TEN eye shadows? they ask in utter astonishment.

With those sorts, I just keep mum. So send your extras where they'll be appreciated, and worry not - what you have left will breed ten-fold thanks to your generosity :P
