I have been using this for a few weeks and I like it but I’m having trouble with the application. Because is is so watery I usually end up with the toner dripping down the bottle and my arms by the time I’m done getting it on my face. Could just be that I’m a klutz, is anyone else having trouble or have tips?
I’v been wondering if it would be better in a little spray bottle? Shake, spritz and rub in………..

Re: Pore Refining Toner
I initially was thinking I was going to ask for this too since most of my other toners have been spritzes. Then I used it on a cotton ball and was amazed at how much more came off my face this way after cleansing. I have to say it was a huge surprise to find my face wasn't as clean as I thought it was! Ugh. The only problem I have now is how fast I'm using it up, LOL!

Re: Pore Refining Toner
Toner is always easier in a little spray bottle and it's a lot more economical too because you just spray on the amount you need. If you use cotton pads or tissues to pour a little toner into and blot that on to your face, the pad absorbs and wastes far more than is used. Little spray bottles are easy to come by in pharmacy stores cheaply. I think it's a little fresher that was as when you press a pad to the open neck of a bottle to tip out a little toner, some of the fibres from the pad can go into the bottle. With a spray, nothing goes in but air. (minor detail). You can spritz it on and still wipe it off with a cotton pad / ball, just as effectively.

Amen! I love spray bottles. I like to spray the toner on, then wipe it off with a cotton ball. It's just as refreshing and uses waaaaay less product.Cupcake wrote:Toner is always easier in a little spray bottle and it's a lot more economical too because you just spray on the amount you need. Pinkfox - the makeup thing can be unnerving, I know. First I'd sugest instead of using toner right after you wash your face, just use water on cotton balls and that should get rid of the makeup residue - until you find a better cleanser! Or do a final rinse and go over your face with a wet face flannel - that usually works too. I dislike wasting toner that way, too.
As to using the toner, I just put it in a small spray bottle, and after I wash and dry my face, I spritz with toner, wait for it to dry, then put on the DMAE serum. After that's dry, some hydrosol and a mix of argan oil and HA - or any of Karen's moisturising serums. If I'm really dry, I'll sometimes use hydrosol and cream instead, or put cream over the argan + HA mix.
And don't skimp on the hydrosol - or just plain distilled water - not in this weather!
