Some quick questions...

Any chance of a gel moisturiser? I have very oily skin and live in a humid country and absolutely worship ~H2O+'s Face Oasis but gosh dran the blue stuff's pricey! Clinique's DDMG isn't bad either but not as hydrating. Plain Aloe Vera gel doesn't cut it for me either - tends to make my skin oily and leave a film.

This might sound off but...aren't all of SNs moisturizers gel based? How would it differ from the others? I'm confused...

I agree. I do use treatments, (AHA, BHA) and would like to add basic mositure where needed.

I also would love to try a cream concealer.

I am a little late to the game because I just saw this thread. For the creamy concealers you mention, I think if they were like the primer you currently sell that would be super! I use the primer as an undereye concealer actually, it just has a very unique texture that allows for buildable coverage, yet doesn't look cakey. And not to mention, because it is meant to be a primer, it stays on very well. Of course with it being white in color, I have to set it with a darker powder. I think a color like the SIAJ and also a peachy color would be perfect because that would cover both fair and darker complexions.

Karen, you are just plain lovely. ASKING YOUR CUSTOMERS WHAT THEY LIKE... WOW! I'd forgotten what that was like. (Ok ok I'll stop being snippy)

A cream concealer would be wonderful. I currently use (that company)'s Thymeless Medium Hydrating Concealer in Savvy (for spot concealing, not under eye) and I'm left with my last jar... so I would be looking to replace that.

That being said, the one product that myself and many others are diligently searching for is a replacement for Natural Reflections from the-company-who-shall-not-be-named.

Hoyden, NR Light was my HG too, and I have replaced it with the Sheer Zinc Powder. It is very sheer but can be tinted with foundation or as JenW (mod) recommended, mixed with one of the perfecting powders. Date Bait + Sheer Zinc has worked well for me.

If you do end up making cream concealers I would suggest you make three really light, bordering on white in peach, yellow and pink/salmon and three really dark to begin with in tiny jars. That way, we could mix and match dark and light colours to suit almost any skin colour. Or perhaps, just three really dark and then a white one to mix with? A lot of brands carry concealers that are built around this concept, and I think the concept is a good one just not what they have done with it.

I'm working on a thicker more traditional cream for winter faces...right now it's really basic- almost like the Olive Oil lotion, but with a few minor modifications. There isn't anything fancy in it- it's a basic lotion, and I like it quite a bit. Personally I love Renovage, and I've been playing around with the anti-aging ingredient that's a plant-based peptide.

What would you like in the new creamier lotion? I'm thinking do one really pretty basic moisturizer with nothing super fancy, and then add some stuff to it and make a more advanced anti-aging moisturizer. Does that sound good?

Soungds great!! I'd love to see both formulas -- the basic & the anti-aging. I'd definitely try them.

Regarding the gel moisturiser - gel based and gel are not quite the same. Gel based are moisturisers that provide a suspension for oil based emoliants. Gel moistursers are largely clear and contain no oils while pure aloe vera gel alone works great for most - it doesn't seem to do the business for me.

I'm not a cosmetologist so how the darn thing works I have no clue. I just know that with ANY other moisturiser i'd always had breakouts - thought it was normal. With this I can get perfectly clear skin. Worth fighting for eh? Even Clinique's DDMG doesn't really work for night use like Face Oasis does.

To be honest I haven't tried any of Karen's moisturisers - largely because Jojoba oil and Emu oil both break me out terribly. See my dilemma?

My skin doesn't like emu oil either (i tried a lipbalm once and broke out in tiny pimples all along my lipline)

I use the hemp:Water, Hemp Seed Oil, Sorbitol, Sodium Carbomer, Gluconoactone, and Sodium Benzoate

and the daily defense: Certified Organic Aloe Vera Juice, Water, Grapeseed Oil, Thermus Thermophilus Ferment (and) Glycerin, Centella Asiatica extract, Sorbitol, Sodium Carbomer, Gluconoactone, and Sodium Benzoate

Neither have jojoba or emu oils and i agree- aloe vera (gel, juice, extract, etc) is awesome for skin. Sarafina used to put it in EVERYTHING which i think is part of why my skin was always so happy with it. So I will add to/sort of second your request for one that's more aloe based and/or more aloe in the ingredients lists in general. LOVE aloe.

Kahani, if you're looking for some moisture but break out easily, I've had really good luck with the Green Tea & Aloe Serum... I find it nice and moisturizing on my oilyish skin....
