I just got my parcel and I love the colour of Lola. It's a lot more cool than in the swatch photo above, not at all warm or orangey. It's a berry shade with a lovely pink shimmer (somewhat like the shimmery bits in Pout).

Normally, I would not buy a liquid lip gloss. Since falling in love with the solid SN glosses in the black tubes, liquid gloss feels too slippery and gooey to me now. That said, Lola has a pleasant texture. Still a bit thinner and more slippy than I am used to but nothing off-putting at all, nothing like the texture-type that I dislike. (Think Juicy Tubes, *gags*) I'd buy this colour in a heartbeat if it appeared in a solid gloss - it's a must-own. On the strength of trying this, I'd be happy to try other SN liquid glosses - something I just would not have done before. Sorry to 'over-play' my dislike of liquid glosses but it's to illustrate that this formula is so much nicer and that I would now buy happily. Before, I would have resisted and missed out.

Thks Rubycat95,
Mailman came. No yellow package. So so sad. :(

Actually I'm taking a roadtrip up to NY city, pretty close to SN..[/quote]

I'm sorry your package hasn't arrived yet. Have a great time in NYC, it's an awesome place. I went to grad school there and lived just north in Westchester County 10 yrs. ago.

Thanks for posting swatches. I agree that Lola and Peace look far more orangey on my monitor than they do in real life. To my eye, Lola is a few shades deeper than Peace. Still loving it :)

Loving Lola.... and Rosie! The new lipstick texture is good. I'll say upfront that lipstick is not my preference but then no lipstick is as I prefer the casual feel of the solid glosses. That said, for a lipstick, it's excellent. I wore it today in hot (and stressful) conditions and it lasted a good 4 hours before any of the colour faded. I tend to pick at my lips with my teeth when driving or a bit stressed, so it stood up through all that nicely. If I wanted a colour I could rely upon, say for a period of time whereby I couldn't patch up my makeup like in a works meeting etc, I'd go for one in this formula. It's really very good.

Okay, I know this is an older post, but I thought I'd bump it up since I've been using Lola a lot lately and I am really loving the color and texture of this lippie :D Also, since Karen has mentioned that the new collection is shaping up to be *huge* especially in the lippy department (yay!), I thought I'd resurrect this thread in the hopes that Lola (or something similar) would be included....
Can't wait to see :P
