Post by rubycat95 » Tue Jun 16, 2009 3:23 pm

I just got my order w/all the new moisturizers, can't wait to try them out. I just want to say that this week's GWP, Lola is gorgeous and I totally Love it!! I hope you add this to your lineup too, Karen. You have such a knack for lippies :)

Lucky you! I ordered on Sunday night, but had some problems with it. Karen is trying to rush my order out (thks!). I'm leaving for a roadtrip Friday morning. If I miss the package, I will (1) have no serum for 2 weeks, and (2) have serums turning bad in the mailbox. So sad :( ..

Well, I really can't wait to get my order!

I used to own like 3 or 4 lipglosses before I found SN, and now it's not far from 30 I think (and I have a few more on my wishlist!) so it's an understatement to say I'm very happy this week's GWP is a gloss!

I am sure Karen will do everything in her power to make sure you get your order in time! Have a great trip, wherever you are going :)

I was the same way about lippies-had a couple favorites and that was it. I haven't counted my SN collection, but I know it's in the double digits. I hope you'll love Lola as much as I do!

Thks Rubycat95,
Mailman came. No yellow package. So so sad. :(

Actually I'm taking a roadtrip up to NY city, pretty close to SN..

i like lola but would love other colors- strawberry is a bit much for my everyday. i feel like it's got more staying power and less stickiness than the earlier liquid glosses which is a plus.

i think lola is actually more of a raspberry color than strawberry--deep pink, not so much red. i swatched it next to rare berry (also described as a strawberry color) and peace. rare berry is definitely more red.

the shimmer in lola is awesome, and the texture is the best of any liquid gloss i have tried. it's full of color yet sheer and kind of understated, not over the top.

packgal wrote:here's a swatch. it's not that great, as it's under artificial lighting with flash and i think that tends to make things more orangey. but you can get an idea. i think lola is actually more of a raspberry color--deep pink, not so much red. i swatched it next to rare berry (also described as a strawberry color) and peace. rare berry is definitely more red.

L to R: Rare Berry, Lola, Peace

It does look raspberry... not so sure it'll look good on my darker olive skin..

Than you very much, Packgal!

Lola looks really good (I have Rare Berry, so your picture really gives me a good idea of what it might look like I think).

That sounds great, the liquid glosses do lack staying power!
