ice princess, precious, peace, pout vs gold blush
ice princess, precious, peace, pout vs gold blush
I'm eagerly waiting for your knowledge SN users! I have looked at Jen's swatches, and I think I'd like to get something light and slightly shimmery, but less light (its color hardly shows) and less shimmery than Gold Blush, which I have tried. So I was thinking of Ice princess, Precious and Peace, but I am still wondering if Precious is not as shimmery or nearly as light as Gold Blush, or how do Pout, Ice Princess and Peace compare to Gold Blush. I would be grateful if you didn't tell me: take them four, they're all great!
And even if none suits my description, it doesn't matter, I already have a bunch of other colors in my cart!
Thank you very much!

Re: ice princess, precious, peace in comparison to gold blush
Precious is like Gold Blush but more intense. It's still sheer and delicate in the grand scheme of things. Peace has a slightly more opaque colour. I haven't used Ice Princess but from swatches, I'd say it's the closest of the three to Gold Blush for sheerness and for having the lightest touch of colour pigmentation.
Gold Blush is just about as 'barely there' as can be, but if you'd like an alternative without colour, perhaps try the famously highly moisturising Black Label lippies. There is one called Pure which has no colour or added scent and at the moment, there's two more with added scent -Devils Food Cake and Peppermint. I think Karen plans more flavours in the near future but I don't know when.
I'll have a think and add more suggestions later.

Re: ice princess, precious, peace, pout vs gold blush
I think Precious might be good, but it has a golden interference sheen. Gold blush has a shimmer that is a little more intense, but the sheen in Precious is almost more noticeable because it is more concentrated and gives better coverage. To sum that one up, less shimmer but almost more intense with the sheen.
Peace will be along the same lines as Gold Blush, less shimmer, more color in a cool toned pink.
Tender has more color than Gold Blush in a similar slightly warmish pink tone and the shimmer in it is subtle like Peace.
Pout is a cool toned pink with shimmer, and not subtle shimmer like Peace and Tender. More definite shimmer than even Gold Blush.
Ice Princess is a liquid wand. Since the finish is different, it is almost hard to compare. It has a little more color than Gold Blush, but because of the formula, the sparkle stands out a little more than Gold Blush. I almost would say the Ice Princess is the liquid form of Gold Blush even though it is a little darker. I am not sure that one would be what you were looking for.
My best recommendation is Tender.

Re: ice princess, precious, peace, pout vs gold blush
Thanks Jane and Cupcake, I think I will try both Tender and Peace! They're small tubes anyway... let's say I can't resist temptation!
Re: ice princess, precious, peace, pout vs gold blush
Sorry I must have read it wrong. I thought Nina was asking for something with less colour and less shimmer than Gold Blush. Tender is a good bit stronger than Gold Blush. Gold Blush is almost invisible on me - just a slick of dewy moist sheen with the slightest hint of colour. Tender is much more pigmented, half way between traditional liquid glosses and lipstick. (But no-one would be disappointed with Precious).

No worries, Cupcake!
I love Precious, too! It is hard to pick which of Precious and Gold Blush I like better........even though they look different on. Precious is cool because it can look pink in one direction, and golden in another. I think it will be my go to for the summer. The interference will look so cool with a tan. Now, if we could beg Karen for a reappearance of Rhonda.......that is my other summer favorite. (I like frosty lippies in summer when tan, and slightly shimmery or matte in the other three seasons.) The other one with a noticeable interference is Very Berry.

1 more hand zooming up in the air for Rhonda! Never got around to trying that one, and I like cool-ish browns with my summer make-up.
