Any interest in gel liners?????
Re: Any interest in gel liners?????
That would be great! I would be game for that!
Re: Any interest in gel liners?????
Well, I guess I am a little late, but I want to voice my love for gel liners!
I use MACs, Bobbi Brown´s and the Indelible gel liners and I love them all..
BB´s are the smoothest of those three and are very easily smudged to avoid harsh lines. MA´C´s fluidlines run a close second IMO and can be smudged just as easy (it depends on the colour you work with, though. Blacktrack is great and super-pigmented, Delphic (a light shimmery teal) has to be "packed" on, otherwise it´s sheeer, smudging equals disappearing). The Indelible ones are a little drier in consistency, haven´t tried smudging those.
If you come up with a gel liner, I´d love to see it in smaller sizes. I know for sure that my myriad of liners will be dried up before I´ve used them half (and those are 3g and 4 g pots).
As for colours - I love them bright, since my usual eye makeup is "neutral with a twist" (aka: colourful liner
).
As for brushes: I love MAC´s 209 (pointed tip) or something similar to it...the one BB is offering as a gel liner brush is good as well. Some people prefer the MAC 266, but noob that I am , I find it impossible to get a thin, even line with that one.. I hope it´s okay to mention other brands?? If not, please delete this post and sorry!

Re: Any interest in gel liners?????
Eva,
The beauty of Karen's liners is that there really is nothing in them to dry up. It really is more of a cream liner formulation, but very similar to gel liners in consistency. Yes the containers are small, but the contents will last a very long time. I am not sure how many colors are currently in the works as well as a colorless to mix your own, but I am sure she will be open for requests once the product is launched. These should be out very soon. There is a really cool video of the colorless one on Karen's Blog. http://silknaturals.vox.com/library/pos ... ealer.html
I have testers in two colors. I know I will want more when they are added to the line. On me they last all day as long as I don't forget to set them with Perfecting Powder. It is an extra step, but definitely a fair trade for a product with natural ingredients.
