West Coast girls are cool, I really dig the SN they wear!

I know a bunch of you East Coast lovelies have had a occasion to meet up at Karen's SN home base last year. Well, last night, Us West Coast gals did a meet and greet and greet and mix and match the minerals.
Ladycattat(me) and Egerandi(not sure if she wants her name disclosed)had been discussing swapping some SN samples when we discovered we lived less than 20 miles from each other. We decided to meet at a Starbucks halfway between us to divvy up our goodies.
Egerandi's avatar photo does't really do her justice. IRL she resembles a slightly bubblier Audrey Hepburn. We ended up going for dinner instead of caffeine in the belief that it was the better choice,blood sugar-wise. I was such a good girl.. I had a salad....so good, with shrimp and avocados and articoke hearts...and didn't even look at booze or chocolate..LOL.

Anyway, we just started talkin, and talkin, and talkin, and not just mmu, all sorts of stuff. Girl talk. DH calls at 9:45....when are you coming home?????

Yes, we both took photos, but only with cameraphones. I will try to upload in a day or two!

Egerandi...I wanted to thank you! You are a blast and I totally enjoyed getting to know you!

So so so jealous! It sounds like you two had a lot of fun!!!! I woke up to snow on my lawn this morning- and I was just thinking it was getting time to mow it- aaaah sunny southern California. Jen- we need to have a west coast SN party- in the middle of winter! My mother was a fan of Quacker Factory clothing on QVC- every year they have a Quacker Factory cruise....some day.

Ah, Laurie, you're so sweet, heheh. I had an awesome time too, it was nice to just talk talk talk and share. That place we went to was great too, that salad totally hit the spot (and didn't notice finishing it all, I was so into the chat). We'll have the chocolate next time

Snow, huh? Maaaan! Well, after the 77 highs yesterday, we hit a low point again and it's raining. Off work finally, I need a lemon drop to wash away the California blues Stay warm, ladies of the East Coast and let me know when you're coming over!

Count me in among the jealous too! Sounds like a fabulous time was had by all And I'm also quite envious of those 70-some degree temps you have out there. We had a dusting of snow this morning (I'm in Binghamton, NY) and there are still some good sized flakes floating down from the heavens. It's actually quite depressing-haven't seen the sun for days and it contributes to the cloud over us, as we were one of the un-lucky cities to suffer a mass shooting last week. I knew one of the victims and that makes it even more real and horrible. Sorry to hijack this thread, I really didn't mean to to do that.

I was wondering how you were doing, and very sorry to hear that you knew someone....I remember when we had the shootings at the courthouse in Watkins Glen in 1993. It was just awful, and that impact still persists. Such ugliness in the world- it's sad for soo many reasons.

Back on topic- I got to thinking about this west coast party- and how does Vegas sound??? I've always wanted to go. Ruby- let us know how it is when you get back!!!

Ugh on the snow- it's killing me. Laurie- when you get your fabulous new house you may find Jen, Zeebs and me camped in your back yard to escape the cold. 77 degrees indeed. There are days in January where it'd have to warm up 60 degrees just to get to freezing.
