Tempt Tryst
Tempt Tryst
Can someone please describe how Tempt Tryst appears? I figure it has the same slightly mattifying properties of the regular Perfecting Powder, but is it simply the same powder with a hint of colour, or is there any shimmer / sheen / pearlescence etc to it? Any chance of a swatch just to see how it changes the appearance of skin? Thanks in advance.
Re: Tempt Tryst
It is definitely the shimmeriest of all the Perfecting Powders. I will see what I can do about a swatch.

Re: Tempt Tryst
Tempt Tryst is gold/yellow in color. It's pretty sheer, but I'm so pale that I can only use it when I have a tan in the summer. In the winter it looks kind of gold on me. If you have golden skin (rather than yellow) it might work for winter.

Re: Tempt Tryst
Helena,
I use this a lot. I will send you a mini jar to try - I'm not sure as Zeebs said whether it might be a touch too yellow for you; you need to apply it when your skin is completely dry otherwise you end up with a gold sheeny patch where your brush first touched your skin, no matter how hard you buff
Back to your description question - it's a yellowy shade with a gold undertone of, well, a mix of peralescence & sheen IMO. It is v easy to wear tho and looks lovely, perks your skin up if you're feeling a bit 'blah'.

Re: Tempt Tryst
its got a glow to it.. in fact I use it 50/50 with my perfecting powder... just brightens up my face that subtle bit to make me look fresher. I prefer this effect over using perfecting powder by itself.

Thanks Chara, that helps a lot.
