Metallic Finish Eyeshadows

Post by lwoodall10 » Sat Feb 28, 2009 7:22 am

Karen,

I don't know if this is appropriate or not..requesting dupes of other mineral makeup :? I ordered samples from Aromaleigh's "Opulent Lustre" collection and the finish is fantastic I ordered Bamboo and when I saw it in the baggie I was not that impressed...I'm a neutral girl, so I have tons browns, taupes etc...But when applied it has the most beautiful metallic finish. According to the sight they use metal powders in the process to get the finish. If you could do this I would buy tons....

Thanks,
Susan

I love metallics, too. I'm not sure about the safety of metals?... but if Karen says it's okay, I will believe her and buy whatever she offers in metallics.

Well I'm looking into it...apparently it's a special kind of pigment that they use. Personally I think most metals are probably safe- again something I'm researching just to make sure. You don't want to ingest large amounts of heavy metals (silver, lead etc), but we do already use copper in one of the glosses. Unless you have a specific allergy to some of them- even if you ate a jar you'd probably be just fine.
