Hi! I'm glad to have discovered this website. I'm looking for powders, primers and finishers which could match my tan skin tone. I'm actually wearing EM Golden Medium Tan and have got oily and acne-prone skin.
I'm a big fan of neutral makeup however, I don't know which colours to choose as for the lips, eyes and cheeks but I don't want shimmeru colors. Any good recommendations of colours for the spring too?
thank you so much and I can't wait for your answers!

Re: Bi-racial (African-European) newbie asking for colors!
Hello and wlecome!
For primers and finishers:
Tinted Oil Control Primer- this should help control the oil. I noticed the swatch is pretty light, but it is in reality a butterscotch color. This one usually is just used as a primer.
Love Lure Prefecting Powder- this is a tinted version of Karen's first product. It should have the right amount of color for it not to show ashy on you. This one can be used as a primer and finisher.
Oil Control blur Finishing Powder- this is another dual product. The difference between this and the Tinted Oil Control Primer seems to be silk. There isn't any silk in our Blur products.
For color products:
Blush- We have many matte blushes. The ones with a good pigment level for your tan complexion are Poppy, Embrace, Enchanting, Tart, and Vixen. Poppy is peachy, Enchanting and Vixen are in the muted reddish brown family, Embrace is a dark mauve/burgundy, and Tart is shocking pink in the jar, but blends out to be a gorgeus pink on deep skintones. Since you lean neutral in color preference, I think I would go with Vixen or Embrace. Poppy is good if you like warmer colors.
Lips- Since you don't want shimmery colors for lips, I am guessing we need a pigmented matte color. The first grouping is in our Organic Glosses (Kisser Slickers). My first choice is Jaybird (reddish brown). It is probably our darkest gloss in the neutral palette. Birthday Suit might also work. Without knowing how pigmented your own lip color is, it is hard to recommend lip colors. For a little bit sheerer color, one of our most popular is Nectar (peachy brown). If you do think more pigment is the way to go for you, try our Kiss Bliss (a gloss/lipstick hybrid) in Delight.
Eyeshadow- I have to be honest here, I think you will need a highlight color with a little shimmer. I am not thinking sparkly, but perhaps a sheen. Otherwise, we do have quite a few matte colors. For colors with a sheen and a touch of copper, try Posh and Chic. I think Posh will be the prefect highlight color for you based upon the foundation you wear. I am not sure the Cream will be right for your skintone unless it is quite blended upon application. I also think Danny and Rizzo would be good choices in the sheen colors. If you really have your heart set on mattes with no shimmer, try Mousse and Mocha. They are a golden hue of brown. If you don't mind a little shimmer in your matte and want more neutral gray/brown try Buff and Moonstone.

P.S. I am sorry if this is a little jumbled. I lost my internet connection mid message! I think I got it all edited right now!

I’d give blur a try for a finishing powder, it’s great and should be prefect with your skin. Of course perfecting powder and oil control primer as standards.
