Love SN Brushes!!!

Post by marina16 » Thu Oct 30, 2008 9:43 am

I had bought the Super Soft Kabuki brush with my last order and I'm totally in love!!! This brush is so soft, doesn't shed (so far, and I've used it every day for about a week now), it's worth every penny! I'll be ordering at least 3 more soon; one each for my mom and aunt, and another one for me. :D I have the Everyday Minerals kabuki, but have not been as crazy about it as I am with the SN kabuki! Earlier I had also bought the blush brush from SN and at first wasn't too happy about it. It seemed to shed a lot and I couldn't make it work. But then I gave it another try and now I love it too! The shedding stopped and I figured out that it works best if I apply blush in a stippling motion with it (gently dabbing it against my skin). That way it applies blush beautifully and looks very natural. This is the first blush brush that works for me. The Everyday Minerals blush brush was way too dense and always seemed like it deposited too much blush at one time making me look like a clown. So I am definetly happy with these! So far I just have the two SN brushes. Can anyone recommend other SN brushes that are your favorites?

I'd suggest popping for the brush *kit*....I really think you can't go wrong. I use brushes from it daily, & I have a huge stash of brushes, lol.

Yup, I guess you can never have too many brushes! :D And that goes for all good makeup as well, lol.

Oh, heck, get 'em all!! Like Mikie, I'm a great fan of the brush kit. The "large" ones (in the kit) are perfect for PP and blush, and there are several others for eyes, etc. The little case has enough room for a few containers. Last trip I put some Date Bait and foundation in separate e/s jars, and took the eyeshadows I wanted in the little ziploc bags. Took out one of the "large" brushes and one of the smaller es brushes, and voila! Now it holds a mascara. Lippies it easily too. I also like the new concealer brush - works great with the SIAJ concealers. The stippling blush brush is also handy to avoid the "just painted" look with the more dramatic blushes. Honestly, I love all of them, especially since they are synthetic.
