I want scented, shimmery powder (or cream) for highlighting cheekbones, clavicles, etc. I want it to smell like fire, nutmeg, and subtle pine. I want a matching solid fragrance stick to go with it. I want it to smell like sophisticated country living - think J Crew - and not like fake Christmas-in-a-bottle scent. I want lots of glittery silvers and blues and pinks. I want subtle nude lips with gold and copper shimmer. I want fresh flushed just-went-ice-skating cheeks. I want peace on earth. Well, I want a color named peace on earth, and maybe there could be a charity benefited by my purchase of it. I want a lot of things. But those are the makeup things I want. Oh, and I still want brow stuff, and I still want copper stuff. I always want copper stuff.

Thanks Karen - I know that's a long list.

Hi Icash

I have blue eyes and BURN easily too, so I'll give my must-have for your sister:
Idolize
Teal Appeal
Grassroots green
sea grass
Charmed
aztec
Mink
Terra
Ocean
Orchid
Hint
Opal
pixie
gasp
whisper
butterfly blue
Lavender
Thistle
Beathe
Cashmere
Scallop Pink

E/S Kits:
Summer Lovin - danny and rizzo really make my blue eyes pop
Stonewashed pallet - a good investment for anyone really great with blue eyes
Modern smokey eye kit - again good for anyone

I tend to stay away from blues as I like to get colour that contras (browns, greens, purple) but ocean is good liner with teal appeal and butterfly blue goes so well with orchard.

Eye liners:
Amethyst - My personal fav and great with hint, lavender and thistle
black cherry - great with pinks
envy - great with pixie, charmed and grassroot green
Mahogany - great with bone, aztec and terra
Film noir - great with the smokey eye kit

I don’t know if you want to buy her mascara and most women with pale skin and blue eyes tend to go for browns. But I love SN black mascara. Not only does it separates the lashed but I can wear it - adds a nice pop to my blue eyes.

Hope this helps
Foundation: 1: baggie 6: ebony: 7 glow
Fav blush: Steller
Fav Lippie: Symphony
Fav combo: cream 1st half of lid, 09:59 2nd half, chocolate twinkle in the crease with Blackheart over it blended out and vanillia on brow bone.

Wow, Ghost, that's quite a shopping list!! Too bad we can't still get e/s samples, then I could get all of those. Then again, I have most of them, so could share what I have I suppose.....No, that would be like regifting, right? ;) Besides, then I'd have to part with them!! So, my pale friend, if you could pick only 4 shadows, 2 highlight colors and 2 liner colors (powder/shadow or cream) what would they be? Thanks, Lauren

Hi Lauren

Fine, fine if I have to choose

Eyeshadows:
Aztec
Lavender
Scallop Pink
Idolize

Highlight colours:
Nymps
Whipped Cream
I know, I know I didn't put them on the list, but they go great with any colours

Liners:
Mahogany
Amethyst
I don't generally use the e/s as liner since getting the cream liner, but as they can double as liner and e/s I pick - Mink & Rebel. (I would have chosen Velvet instead of Rebel, but I don't have that one.................. yet!!!! and you can never go wrong with a brown/plum & black eye liner). Quick tip with the cream liners - warm them in your hands before applying to the eye, must easier to apply when warm.

Your soooo nice doing this for your sister lauren. I emailed my entire wish list to mine older sister with three simple words "Birthday and Xmas" :D Wonder if she got the hint??????

I second the vote for a deep green cream liner. I would also like dark purple ( think Velvet or darker). The peace on earth eyeshadow sounds like a good idea.
I'll take some more black label lippies, in warm colors.

I love neutrals so mine would be:
Vanilla(highlight), Quartzite, Sunlit Bark, and Bittersweet(line) OR the elegant brown quad. The new Colors for a cause make a gorgeous smokey eye for me and smokey tends to pop eye color. I really should take a pic but i've been wearing it all day. Btw they are uber sparkly imo. 'specially live. love is a GORGEOUS liner. Honestly, who doesn't love a good brown combo?

Since you want color, I LOVE...
Breathe, High Beam(to highlight), and Teal Appeal (contour and line)

For blues I'm leaning towards stormcloud with a white highlighter and sapphire as a liner.

I know I've only been here five mins (and not going anywhere else, any time soon!) but can I put in a request? The cream eye liners, is it possible to have one with a dark teal colour like a Peacock's tail-feather? It would be best shimmery. Here's a swatch I cropped from another site to give an idea of the colour...

Image

That one was made with matte black pigment and a teal glitter, so that particular brand is very difficult to wear or make into wet or dry liner, but the colour is fantastic. It works on every colour eyes, even my pale blue eyes. I'm not sure why, but it's awesome. It would make a wonderful liner. Thanks a lot :)

That's a beautiful color - sort of Poly on speed!!! I can't see myself wearing it - though I said that 4 months ago about lots of the colors I'm now wearing. These SN forum ladies are just too darn eager to lead us all into naughtiness and temptation with our credit cards!! Did I mention I've learned to love naughtiness and temptation?! :o Lauren

Those are all wonderful! I realized this morning that I hijacked your thread- so I started a new one to ask about holiday etc.
Naughtiness and temptation sound good to me (good names for eye shadow too)!
