Recs for a YLBB shade
Hi all! I'd like some recs for a YLBB shade suitable for someone with light cool/neutral coloring and naturally very pigmented rosy/mauve-y lips. Looking for something that would be a go-to on those very light/"natural" makeup days. Gloss and/or shimmer is fine, but nothing brownish or what's called "nude" as those colors look anything but natural on me.

Sounds like we have similar coloring. Try Briarwood, Pout, Proper and Summer Fling. I was gonna suggest Infatuation but it looks like it's been discontinued. When did that happen?

Thinking about it, Briarwood might be a little more brown than what you want. It has a touch of warmth and brown in it. I kinda like slightly brown shades because they end up looking neutral on my lips, whereas sometimes the ones that start out pink end up too cool on me. Sheena is another one like this, only a little darker.

I think we have similar coloring. I have light/medium cool toned skin with pink undertones. My lips are also a pigmented rosy mauve color. On me soft, pout, and nananana boo boo are all lovely MLBB shades that are pinkish (no brown). Breathless is another MLBB shades, but breathless is a pink with touch of brown nothing too intense though. I love breathless too because it has a slight shimmer and is a very flattering MLBB color.

I have similar coloring and cultured is exactly that on me.

Roberta, Bobbi, and Garter! Garter is my holy grail lipstick. I swear I'm going to order 5 more and stash them everywhere. I find Roberta is the closest to a YLBB shade on me, but Garter is the most perfect pinky nude that might work for you if your natural lip colour is close to mind.
