Oh, I'm in trouble. I've fallen in love with Karen's e/s and won't have any other. But that doesn't mean that I'm not tempted to stray every now and then....
I saw this Chanel quad and EOTD:

What do you think? Will the Smokey Eye Kit be a good substitute? Any other suggestions? Thanks so much!

Silver lining
Haze
Blackheart or Wildwoman
Slick
Rebel has a al lot of blue sparkle and the swatches look more gray.
On me Wink Wink has a bit more taupe than Slick.

How does Slick and Silver Lining compare? Is one more shimmery than the other? Cooler?

From what I can see in the swatches, the Chanel Quad does not have the 'Rocker Chick" sparkle from the BE dupes. I would go with:
Whipped Cream
Silver Lining
Storm Cloud
Raven
Also, there is quite a difference between Wink Wink and Slick. I almost could not get a good pic of Slick due to the overall sheen factor. It is much more sheeny, and a bit darker than WW. I could not get a good representation of the cosmetic shimmer in Rebel and Blackheart. They are pretty sparkley.

Rebel is MUCH more shimmery than this swatch shows IMO. Also, it appears very blue to me, both in the jar and applied on the skin. It's a great color but be aware of those things.

I just checked it out in person- I swatched the colors, then ran out to my makeup kit in the parking lot to compare. The Chanel kit is very muted, very understated- and very sheer. I think they went sheer to keep it really blendable, and layerable- that's what the sales person was saying. Jen's suggestion of Whipped Cream, Storm Cloud, Silver Lining, and Raven- is pretty spot on. I might be tempted to substitute Rebel for Storm Cloud- IF you're going for perfect matches to the Chanel quad, there is more sparkle in it than the Chanel color (which does have some chunky sparkle in real life- just not as much as Rebel) BUT Whipped Cream, Storm Cloud, Silver Lining and Raven were all made to go together- a SN smokey eye quad.
