I have swatched some of the reds that I own. From top to bottom:

Atomic
Strawberry Fields
Bitten
Reddy
Rare Berry

Unfortunately, it's rather gloomy here today and the pictures were taken with a phone camera, so the quality isn't that great. But I hope this does help a little.

What a sweetheart you are to make the swatches for me - thank you so much!!!

Atomic looks like a reddish hot pink, is that correct? I love pink so it could work. Is it sheer?

Strawberry Fields looks nice and sheer, but a warm red. Is my computer seeing it right? :)

Bitten looks like a medium, neutral red??

Reddy definitely looks too dark for me.

And Rare Berry has peaked my interest! It looks sheer, cool, and not too dark. Is that a correct assessment?

I think I've narrowed it down to Atomic, Bitten, or Rare Berry :)

Thanks again!

Oh, so Bitten is warmer than Strawberry Fields? Yikes....maybe I should just get Rare Berry. I'd like a cool, sheer red that isn't super dark or bright.

Thanks so much for your input! :)

I think it depends a lot on the skin/lips tone. On me Strawberry Fields looks warmer than Bitten (maybe because it's sheerer). Bitten is more neutral.

Rare Berry is sheer but I'd say it's also slightly warm (again, might be my colouring) so probably not the one you're looking for.

If you like pink then I think you may want to try Atomic first. On me it does look like pinkish berry rather than the true red it's supposed to be, but on your lips it may lean more into red. And it's quite sheer. Bitten is darker, more opaque and not as cool.

ETA: If you have Damsel, Bloom, Reaction or Soft, this SN swatch should be useful: http://host.silknaturals.com/creb/atomi ... ml?image=1

I must have 100 silk Natural lipsticks or more. The Strawberry Fields is just a masterpiece.Perfect for the summer.I don't find it warm at all.I bought one for my mother who is darker then I am and it looks fantastic on her too. i am very pale with green eyes. What a gorgeous color.Karen you are a LIpstick genius!

Absolutely! Strawberry Fields is very sheer, and therefore reflects some of the color beneath and will be different on different people. It appears much warmer swatched on an arm than it will on pink or plum toned lips. It will become a redder version of your natural lip color. From what I've seen in comments about this color, it seems it really suits most people. I don't do a lot of red, but I've already purchased a back-up of this one!

Thank you all for your great input! I am now leaning toward Strawberry Fields, lol ! I'm going to place my order now; I want the Freedom lippie! Will probably be my perfect red! :-)

I agree 100%. I can't imagine this looking bad on anyone. It's not warm or cool, it just looks right! You can change the look if you layer it on. It leaves a nice even stain behind. I think this is truly a universal color for all!!!

I have tried 85% of SN lippies and this is by far my favorite!!!! Looks great with all colors of clothing (never happens with reds) and looks great casual or dressy.
