Just about all the major lipstick manufacturers have some kind of flavoring in their lipsticks. The great part about SN lippies is that they are natural and you are not licking petrochemicals off your lips. Still the oils do have a funny taste. The stevia with a pinch of vanilla is great! I really look forward to that taste on my lips.No pleasant using them without any sweet flavor.I Guess even just the stevia would be great. These are no doubt very special lipsticks.

Do the slick sticks follow this formula too? I really like the color of Briarwood, but there definitely seems to be a bit of a peculiar flavor to it.

I'd say the amplifying lip glazes are my top-used lip products. I use them almost daily, multiple times a day sometimes!

The clear Kisser Slickers have a sweet flavor, don't they? Perhaps they can be layered over or under to add sweetness to the unsweetened lippies.
I currently do this with the clear ALG, to add mintiness to my lips, since I love the tingly feeling.
I personally don't really care either way whether there is Stevia or not, since I do not lick my lips and never taste it anyways. But I was just thinking of ways everyone can enjoy all the lippies, people that prefer sweet and those who can't use sweeteners.

I put vanilla flavor in everything...it comes through stronger in some than others I'll admit. The stevia- I hadn't been putting it in because if I'm terribly lucky it can be a teensy bit gritty, and someone said it spikes her blood sugar. There's a licorice based natural sweetener too, but I haven't really played with it.

Karen, how much do you use in a tube of L/S? This is a very safe sweetener for your blood sugar, if you have diabetes or hypoglycemia. Its very low to no carbs or calories in it. :? :?

A licorice based sweetener sounds like it would be great, I know I love the taste of licorice root in tea. I'm not a fan of stevia, but do agree with some others that the ones without it have a different flavor to them. I would use the lippies with or without the stevia, but if another natural sweetener works out I think I would probably prefer that.

Unfortunately some people (like myself) are unable to use anything with vanilla in it. I have a sensitivity to it so I like the formulas where vanilla is not so pronounced. VLG and VLS are the ones I tend to wear and they don't bother my lips as much. :)

I am also a big fan of the VANILLA and STEVIA. Whatever Karen uses in her original Kisser Slickers is my absolute FAVORITE! I wish the Slick Sticks had the same formula.

It's funny how we are all so different - Karen will never be able to please all of us :)

I absolutely HATE anything pepperminty on my lips! I tried one ALG - loved the color; hated the feel/taste.

I know Eliz can't use Stevia, so I feel like I'd rather not be able to taste anything than her not be able to use the lippies at all.
Awww, thanks, Oxana! I know, it stinks that not only am I not able to use real sugar, but I can't use any other type of alternative:( I truly appreciate Karen not including it in all of her lip products.... It's difficult to find any without these days!!!
