Summer Collection

Post by cristy_amk » Mon Apr 22, 2013 8:53 pm

LOL I know we just got some new products on the site, but I think we're all so excited about the cream shadows and new lippies we're ready for more!

I'd love see more cream shadows. I have hazel eyes and reddish colors (like prowl) really make them pop. I'd love to see this in cream formula!

Lip liners are a must for me. I don't mind my lip color I just like to enhance my mouth and lip liners would be great!

Lip primer. Lip colors fade on me so quickly. I'd love something to help keep them in place even a bit longer :)

Some mauve toned lip colors. When I say mauve I'm leaning more towards a mid-slightly darker tone pink mauve. So many mauves are too purple or too light of a pink tone.

Neck cream. I think Mamma's helper has a tightening effect (I'm going to be adding it to my shopping cart) but would love to see a tightening cream. LOL, I know creams can't perform miracles!!!

Thanks!!!

Oh my! Asking for more is always the sign of a good collection...

Right now I'm doing a bunch of little organization kind of projects around the shop, like finding a new laser printer, and figuring out a bunch of things.

I'm not saying no to a Summer collection, but realistically I'm not sure when I'll get to making it. I have to get our ducks in a row or we'll go nuts.

But yes! List 'em! Once a year I give every color a good once over just to see where we stand- what we need more of, what we need less of (maybe)- that sort of thing. I just started that process.

i'm still hoping for a cream highlighter in the range of goddess or cloudberry, and a nude lipstain.

other than that i feel pretty content at the moment :D

oh yes the cream shadows are awesome, how could one not want more? :)
I'd love more colors with the finish of Penthouse. Love the low sheen pearl finish it has, so flattering on my lids, and would love some light/highlight colors with that finish.
And of course a cream shadow version of Doubloons, because that is just an amazing color!

And speaking of duochrome shadows like Doubloons, those types of colors seem to be what's hot for the summer! I see a lot of companies releasing iridescent/duochrome shades. And seeing as I love colors like that, that's really what I would personally love to see if there was a summer collection. Especially in lippie form. Like MAC Lollipop Loving(pink with green iridescence).
Also, maybe something similar to Doubloons just altered a tiny bit to work better on the lips would be a neat lippie?
I love the new Slick Sticks formula, and of course my all time fave ALG formula as well :)

If I can chime in, I think it'd be nice to see the SN catalog expand to include some more matte colors. However, I'd be in full support of foregoing a summer collection and wait until autumn. I think getting things in order is really important!

I'm in the camp of preferring matte colors too. I'm really loving the finish of Cutie Pie-mostly matte with just a touch of sheen. If that sheen were golden instead of pink, it would be perfect for me! I find that so many of the colors that have "interference" tend to swing cool-I'd love to see some true warm tones without any pink/blue/violet, etc, preferably powder shadows.

I'd second a nude lipstain and would also love a coral one!

I'm loving the new slick sticks and would definitely buy a warm nude color-similar to Cider blush!

And finally, I'd love a cream blush version of Maybe Baby and a matte bronzer cream as well!

i would also love some more warm shadows with more of a peachy golden interference!!

kchalbi, have you tried one of the deeper cream concealers as a matte bronzer? i have requested a matte cream bronzer over and over, but to no avail :( so now i am using no. 4 (subtle contour) and no. 5 (proper bronzer or deep contour) for that purpose and it works like a dream ;) for reference, as a concealer (and recently also as foundation) i am using no. 1.

Thanks for posting that tidbit. I tried a matte cream bronzer a few times, and every time I attempt it it's just muddy- a little lightening might work, if you're already using a concealer for it.
