I forgot about Carnation and Daydream, I don't have them now, but sampled in the past. Those are nice pinks that are not too light or bright. I myself look best with light pinks like Confession, Reaction, Sweet Pea, etc. But some people find those too light, as they are indeed quite light. For more of a dramatic look, like in the evening I like Operative, Beguile. However, those are darker, I'm not sure they are even light enough to call pink. And Carnation and Daydream I am pretty sure fall right in between, like a medium depth pink.

Also, some of the colors like Pout are sheer, but Carnation and Daydream are more pigmented, more like a lipstick.

Have you considered Infatuation and Eden?

Infatuation is a plummy pink MLBB, while Eden has a touch of brown undertone- at least it does to my eyes- and is a little darker.

Here's a swatch page with Infatution:

Eden is as dark as I can go, but the shimmer keeps it from looking too dark and it really brightens my face. If you go to the Eden page, the color in real life looks like the round photo on top. In the swatch photo (on my monitor), everything has an orange cast, but Eden isn't orange.

HTH!

On me Eden looks really dark, like a bronze color. But that could just be due to my coloring. I do love Infatuation, it is pretty shimmery, but I love the purple color of it, I look best in cool tones, so it works well for me.

Mairi,

My lips are Bobbi colored. Operative, Heirloom and Sweet Pea all look like I accidentally spilled Pepto Bismol all over my face. I have never been able to find a nice baby pink that looks natural on me until Candid and Reflect. Candid on its own is too Barbie pink and Reflect doesn't show up at all, but I switched the applicators back and forth about 15 times and now they are both the perfect shade; my "Candid" is the perfect touch of color for no makeup days and "Reflect" is a nice pop of sparkle for heavy made up eyes. I hope you like them as much as I do.

Feyith, I should check with you whenever I buy lippies! Bobbi is so close to my lip color that I thought it was completely sheer when I first tried it on. And I also get the pepto bismol effect with operative, heirloom and sweet pea, lol! But I'm really only looking for nude pinks right now, not the baby pinks.

I do want to try cultured though. My thought is that bobbi is just a tad too purplish to be the perfect nude look but it's so close, so perhaps cultured might have just the tweak I wanted.
But I really can't tell the difference between cultured and st tropez in the swatches. Is st tropez more brown?

I'm also interested in eden now, as I had been scared off by the orangey swatches before. And a little skeptical of breathless, as I can't do too much shimmer.

mairi, if shimmer is your foe, then go for cultured instead of st. tropez. for me the shimmer is the main difference between the two (besides, of course, one being a lip stick and the other a liquid gloss).

Thanks, it helps to know the difference between them. I think I will go for cultured.
