What color/s foundation should I try? mac nc44 nc42

I'm unsure what foundation colors to try.

my eyes and hair are dark brown. I am mixed black/white. I am a light brown skin. I usually look slightly caramel/yellow. In MAC makeup I am a NC43/44 (42 is almost perfect but too yellow). I'm not sure on my undertones, my veins look green but have blue and purple too. I find most foundation make me look too pink.

In the full face picture I have on powder.
The other pic is of my bare forehead in natural outside light. (it does look a little paler than I really am)

I usually recommend Warm Gold for NCs. In the 40 and up range, I also recommend a sample of Deep Ebony to add depth so that you can use a higher white ratio in your recipe.

First, I would try 1 Warm Gold: 1-3 white.... If that is dark enough, you won't need the Deep Ebony. If the color is off, we might have to adjust with Buttery Gold.

A sample kit plus a Deep Ebony sample is probably your best bet.
