Garden Party Shadow....Beautiful!

Post by piersonsmommy » Thu Jul 12, 2012 3:25 pm

I'm not much of a shadow person at all (I opted out in lieu of a lipbalm) but my gosh this week's free gift is lovely. Garden Party is soooo nice - a perfect all over lid neutral that works like a charm by itself. Thanks for sending it to me - a great shade!

Yes, Garden Party is very nice! I wore it today from lid to crease and smudged under the lower lash line, then added a small "pop" of Deco on my lid and a few dots of Sapphire here and there on my upper and lower lash lines.
It makes a nice canvas for cool bright colors, and pretty on its own as well.
These GWPs get better and better!
I am looking forward to Country Nights :P

I completely agree! I wore it wet on the lid, with grey smoked out on the crease and got many compliments. I also recieved a small sample of pink lemonade, it looked gorgeous wet on the inner third of a brown smokey eye. These shadows morph and look so pretty! I'm hoping I don't get addicted as I already own tons of shadows!

So sad I missed out on this one! Thought about placing an order just based on the cute name!

Love this color too. Great all over lid everyday color for those of us who prefer a simple eye look.

I'm not a shadow person either and very seldom buy any shadows , and when I received it I didn't try it on because it looked like another a brown-neutral colour that I already have. Then I applied a thin layer on awhim and saw how beautiful it looks. It actually looks lighter applied than in jar and it isn't shimmery or sparkly. I'm cool toned blonde with dark blue-grey eyes and this looks like not 'having' an eye shadow but just gives some nice touch for daily look to wear at work. I'm sure it works with many colours to pair with!
More shadows like this please :)
