Mistake with Sleep in a Jar that Worked.
I had ordered the medium sleep in a jar. I left a review stating that is was not only too dark on me but the coverage was too sheer. Since I had nothing to loose I mixed in my sample packet of the Ivory Foundation packet in the Heavy coverage to try to lighten it up a bit trying to salvage the concealer. Not only did that tiny packet lighten the color to one that I could actually use but it somehow transformed the coverage to make it much less sheer. I still won't use it around my eyes but for a generally concealer purposes, such as my red cheeks or other discolorations, this mistake mix turned it into something I can use and like.

I love it when I "invent" a whole new product with items I already have.beachedsiren wrote:I had ordered the medium sleep in a jar. I love doing that as well. I recently got a pancake foundation that was incredibly thick and didn't blend well and I was really disappointed, until I discovered that if I wet a makeup sponge and then apply it, it goes on like butter. I have so many foundations that I can now use because I discovered that trick.
