SN Ultimate Retractable Travel Kabuki - User reviews ?

Post by meriT83 » Wed May 23, 2012 3:13 am

Has anyone tried SN's Retractable kabuki ? Would love to know what you think of it.

I was looking for a replacement for my EcoTools retractable kabuki and wanted to know how it compares.

In my experience, synthetic bristles are synthetic bristles- they're all soft and glorious and most companies get them from the same set of of suppliers for resale. Every once in awhile the density differs a bit, but it's usually pretty much the same. Since you already have a retractable synthetic kabuki, it should perform pretty much the same way as the one you have. I used to buy my brushes from all different companies, but finding them much the same (provided they're synthetic) I just purchase from whoever has the best price.

I find it is pretty well the same as the non retractable. I'm in the middle of a move and have been using it everyday for my foundation as I have misplaced the bag with my regular supplies in it and am still using my travel kit.

I dithered for ages before buying this, but it really is an excellent brush. It's very similar to the TooFaced retractable kabuki if you've ever looked at that (but that one is pink), but I haven't seen the ecotools one so can't compare.
