Thank you, ladies :) Too kind.

Oh yes Vamp is fantastic alone or topped just with some lipbalm or clear gloss too. It's very wearable despite being slightly "deep" and not as attention grabbing as Dixie/Gigi. I don't have Roxie so can't comment on that.

I am going to try this one next -- sounds Fab!

Today used an adaption on 4wheel's excellent advice to use a drop of water to soften and sheer out Roxie for a Nude lip look -- thanks 4wheel :P

I applied two alternating layers of Roxie and Vamp with a wet cotton swab, followed by a layer of Incite. The overall result is a gorgeous medium-to-deep brick red, but the cool Vamp layers flirt from beneath the surface in certain lights. It is a great color -- both bold and understated.

Mavea, glad it worked out for you and it gave you the softer look. I did it with Doll and like it.
Let me know how Gigi, Doll, and Electra work for you...it not soft at all... LOL a tad on the wild side . :o :o ;)

New lip stains are wonderful..... love playing with the two new ones.

Kiki + Shrieking Violet = and awesome deep purple with a shinny blue glow...fun!! :o :D :o

You only need one layer of Kiki...it's powerful.

Kiki + Provoke = intensified Provoke!
Scarlet + blue shimmer lip gloss (I was inspired by the Vamp + Icing combo)..maybe Glacier ALG could work.
Trixie + Allure + a bit of clear lip gloss = Trixie alone doesn't look good on me, but with Allure it becomes a wearable orange peach. I only added the additional lip gloss to make Allure less shimmery.

I also tried an adaption on 4wheel's advice..but this time for Kiki (even one coat is still bold looking on me). I use a wet q-tip to evenly apply Kiki. It gives a less harsh purplish berry tone.
