Need some friendly advice please

Post by tracyb » Wed Jan 04, 2012 9:34 am

Good morning! Thanks so much for being here to help.

Due to incredibly sensitive skin, I am constantly trying to find products which will work for me. I am so pleased to have found Silk Naturals through a blog I read! It looks like their list of ingredients will work for me.

I am not good and looking at colors on line or in the store and knowing if they will look good on me or not so I could use some suggestions for blush and eye shadow. I have dark blond hair, blue/gray eyes and a light/medium skin tone that leans warm.

I am in my early 40s with a professional management job so I need work appropriate choices but I am interested in branching out for outside of work to colored liner (or shadow used as liner) with a wash.

Thanks so much for your time. My order awaits :)

For eyes,I would say to try anything that is an eyelight. Use the search box at the top of the web page and enter EL*. I suggest Phantom, Model, and Fusion. Mattes are good, too, for work safe options.

And for blush, really anything in the warm or peachy pink range. I usually recommend Satisfied for starters.

You will LOVE Satisfied. True story.

I think Aria (Black Label lippie) will also look great. Currently wearing it. Heheh.

Blanket Fort is awesome as well.

For blushes, Satisfied is great - I also personally LOVE Lovelace. It's a beautiful semi-shimmer slightly pinkish peach. A light natural look.

Model is beautiful! All the colors are, though, really. :)
