I had two Raisins and they both turned very quickly (kinda rancid, even though I only used it a few times, but it was just sitting there). I have lippies I bought years ago and they are still smell and look OK, so not sure what was up with Raisin. I'm fairly fair, and I love the way it looks on me, and I can even use it as a stain, sort of, for daytime. Cassis didn't work, unfortunately, its hue is just different enough to make it look odd on my face. I have Roxie, I'll try layering Fig Leaf and Figment on top to see if it works. I'm been eyeing Vamp, but it kinda looks like Cassis in a stain? I love Doll though.

Sam, I'll pm you!

Genuine is a color that was affected by pigment discontinuation, so unfortunately it is no longer available. I am sorry about that. I will take a look and see what is close....

I got kind of curious myself to see the difference so I took some pictures (dry lips, sorry). Maybe it can help you see how Vamp ties in with Cassis and Raisin, though I suspect if Cassis looked odd on you, Vamp might not work either...

Zus, thanks for wonderful pictures. Makes me want Raisin more along with Cassis. Vamp looks great though and a good dupe for Cassis. I think I may have to buy it in my next order.

Jen, thanks for checking on Genuine. That's a bummer about the ingredients, but I would be interested in trying any dupes you suggest!

Are there any other lippies that have been discontinued lately because of ingredient discontinuations?

It is hard to say what exactly had to be discontinued, because most were able to be reformulated. I think most of them that are going are gone at this point.

Thanks everybody for you input. Yeah, it doesn't look like Vamp will work, but I think I can try and layer something on Roxie. I'll experiment :)
