Adorn: am I doing it wrong?

Post by feyith » Sat Sep 10, 2011 2:23 pm

I've tried Adorn as a lid color, crease color, inner corner, outer corner, highlight, dry, foiled, over primer...I can't seem to get the cool violet blues like I keep seeing on other people's pictures. How do you use it? What am I doing wrong?

I think that the violet shift is very subtle on most of us. I know it is on me. I personally love Adorn and use it mostly as a one color wash. I foil it...but I foil all my SN shadows. It does show up mostly apricot on my eyelid from lashline to crease, and then just over the crease the violet cast just sort of *magically* shows up. It's weird. I don't think you are doing anything wrong....maybe it has to do with your particular skintone? I wish I could be more help! :geek: Maybe someone else wants to chime in......Phyrra???? I know that's one of your favs.
