All right all... I have been trying to figure out the skin stuff for a while now... I have probably boughten at least one of each kind of moisturizer and serum.. I just can't seem to find the right mix or am doing something not right.... I have pretty sensitive skin so usually I do products for that... I am 33 and have some acne as well as spots... it is a bit of a mess... I am not sure which cleanser I should use either.
My biggest problem is usually after I put the serum on my face it feels tight or dry... it seems that way with everyone of the serums.. and the moisturizer sometimes feels the same way.. maybe I just haven't used the right combinations to go with... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Skin help
Serums do tend to make the skin feel tight, especially if they are for anti-ageing. But they should not make the skin feel dry.
Cleanse: I am thinking KISS Cleanser. If you don't have a foamer, you need just the tiniest amount and it will foam in your hands with a little water. If you do have issues with your skin drying out, it is critical that you don't use too much. The foamer is kind of self-limiting.
Next is usually Tone. Have you tried any of them? For drier acneic skin, I would try the Lavendar. I would suggest Pore Refining, but if your skin is sensitive it might not be the best choice (mine is, and it does not work for me.) I would also consider BHA every other night. Possibly start AHA every other night by 35.
Hydrate & Treat: Vitamin C Peptide or Awesome Sauce. Awesome Sauce might be better because it uses a different hydrator than all the other serums. I would still keep something like Oatmeal Serum or Green Tea & Aloe on hand for those extra dry days.
Moisturize: Argan & Goji, or Firming Moisturizer. The Camilla Passionfruit might work, too, but it has a slightly stronger earthy scent...which will be fine if scents don't bother you.
If you have tried any of this that absolutely will not work, let me know and we can figure it out!

Re: Skin help
Thanks Jen! I will try some of those recommendations... I tried the lavender toner but it stung and made my face really really red... I don't think my skin liked it and that is ok... I hope that Karen will come out with one other toner because I have tried the other one as well and it my skin upset... oh the fun of having difficult skin
But thanks for the recs and I will try them out!

Re: Skin help
We all have skin sensitivities. Have you tried the Strawberry one? It is less of a toner, though. I think I would be on board for a non-lavendar one myself. (Truth be told, I usually end up forgetting toner and go straight for the Awesome Sauce...) Until we get another, you could probably get by.
