Blushberry swatch, please?

Post by frckls » Tue Jul 19, 2011 2:04 am

I've been contemplating to get Blushberry for a while. Karen said in the description that it leans towards cool, but I'm very tempted by the watermelon-y color description. I know that some of you might have gotten the baby by now, so can I kindly ask for the swatch pleasee? Especially to the warm-golden skin-toned ladies out there (I'm staring at you Aud! ;) ). Hand-swatch, lip-swatch, FOTD with Blushberry, anything is highly appreciated!

Thanks! :D

Maybe this weekend on my blog, if photobucket behaves!

It's really reminiscent of Rare Berry, except that it's not so opaque. Personally don't think it's *that* cool.

Can you probably throw in a side-by-side swatch of Blushberry and Rare Berry while you're at it? :D

Yep, I agree with Aud, it's not that cool to me. It comes out as a warm coral on me.

No more Rare Berry as I've used that up.

I tend to think that sheerer slightly cool colours can work on warm skintones because they're sheer and allow some of your natural lip colour to show through, which swings it more towards the neutral or even slightly warm side. Does that make sense?

Coolness Aud! Thanks a lot! Blushberry sure looks pretty and I'm definitely getting it! I hope Maiden isn't supposed to be replaced by Pretty Please because Kisser Slickers last pretty long on me without eating.

Btw. It seems that your project pan is working pretty well. ;)
