The Story:I've been purchasing SN for about 4-5 years- pretty much to the day of when the warm gold foundation was released, and I have EVERYTHING. As I open my closet lately and look at the shelves of makeup, I'm struck by the fact that most of it doesn't get worn nearly as often as it deserves. While that's fine for shadows that don't really have a shelf life, the lippies deserve better.
So tonight I tried on every single SN lippie I own- which is almost every SN lippie ever released (give or take about 5- ones I never acquired vs. ones i have that were never released), and made keep, give, and destroy piles.
The caveat: I'm a bit of a collector. If you recognize the name, I probably bought it when it was released. If you don't, it's at least 2 years old. That being said, I tried on every single lippie in this pile- if the oils were rank or the lippie had turned to tar (raisin, rhonda, and jaybird) they got pitched. The others were cleaned with rubbing alcohol and had a quarter inch removed from the top. How much is left in them? That's a good question- if i'd been wearing them with any real regularity, they wouldn't be in this pile so odds are they're pretty full. They're free so I'm not too concerned about "gipping" anyone. You can pass it on, toss it, or love it, but it's FREE and FREE=
The Rules:
First thing first, U.S.A. ONLY. Shipping charges are higher outside the US, and as I have no intention of charging anyone for shipping, I'm not going to make it harder on myself. I live in Hershey, Pennsylvania (yes it smells like chocolate!)
