Thought of one more, Karen. I was just discussing the finer points of Rhonda in my "Bon-Bon: what color is it?" thread.

I LOVE Rhonda. With one small dilemma.

Rhonda really tones down the pigment in my lips, making dramatic eye looks more successful for me. However, Rhonda tends to look frosty and too cool. I'd really like something equally purple but maybe warmed up with a hint of gold or brown/peach? Maybe? I am just guessing here as to what needs to change to make it perfect.

You are way more knowledgeable about color than I am, but all I know is, I really want to wear Rhonda for daytime and for work as a nude look but it just has this goth-like frosty thing to it that prevents it as a polished look. It looks really nice for a nude look for night at the bar or at concerts... but I also want a nude look for day. Can you help me?

For reference: Infatuation is really really really close to being MLBB but it's like, one shade too dark to actually be my lip color. I like the color of my lips but frankly I'd also like a really toned-down nude brown look and so far, purple seems like a good start on that.

Help?

Hi Zeebs, I am not at all a color expert, but what about Skinny Dip? I am very fair (neutral-leaning towards yellow) with freckles, with medium pink lips. Skinny Dip shows up as a very neutral nudey/pinky/tan on me with just a smidge of shimmer. I wouldn't call it sheer, but it isn't terribly opaque either. I really like it when I am looking for a *nude* lip.

Laurie - thanks! Will try it.
*edit* Karen, I am going to try Divine. I didn't even realize it existed! And also Sweet Nothing.
Once I do, I'll let you know if I still need you to fix me up with a Rhonda-but-not-so-cool color.

Omg! Thanks so much for cloning Clear Pink, Karen! Oh no, I can't wait to try it, and I have to get a new credit card! (Damn changing countries really plays havoc on my makeup addiction). I won't bore everyone with a gushy post, but the full extent of my gratitude can be read here:

Thanks again, Karen! So much.. and I must say your prescience with the Cherry Crush l/g is uncanny!

Modern Poet in Kisser Slicker Form... I love the colour of Modern Poet on me, but dislike the wand application. :0)

Agree! I love Copper Rose but prefer the stick form. The wands aren't bad (I really like the texture) but the sticks are soooo much faster to apply.

I actually prefer the wand form! Kisser Slickers are lovely and super easy to apply. But they tend to be on the soft side and can sometimes crumble / get a bit mushy. THEN I get a clump of lippie on my lips. I don't keep them in my pocket or even a hot car. But it does happen.

I'll forgive them anything because I love them so, but the wand glosses are my preference. =)

In faaaacccttt.. would love Soft and Berry Nice in wand gloss form pretty pretty please. Anyone back me up on this?

Karen I'd love some darker lipglosses for fall/winter, that's the only thing I can think of that's really missing from the SN gloss collection :D .

They could maybe be deep but semi-sheer/sheer which might make them easier for everyone to wear (though I personally find darker glosses can flatter most people, you just have to go a bit more subtle on the eye makeup).

I'd especially love a Blackberry colour, a deep, slightly pinky purple.

Also maybe a Wine colour (since Blackberry and Wine are automatically the two colours that I think of when I think fall/winter lips), perhaps a deeper, much more red version of Seedy?

I'd love it if they could be in the lipwand version, but if not then the Kisser Slicker version is fine too.

Anyone else like to see Blackberry or Wine lip glosses? :)

P.S Kahani, while I'd love it most if my beloved Seedy was available in the lip wand version, I'd definitely buy the lovely Berry Nice if it was available in lipwand too ;) .

Three cheers for Soft! It's great for daytime - just enough color to look polished. Would probably be great layered as well.

Supporting Kahani on getting Berry Nice into a liquid wand version! Seedy would be great in wand form too. Summer desert weather is around the corner in Australia and I don't want my tubes to melt.
